"Die Gastgeber, mit denen man während des Aufenthalts eng zusammenlebt, sind, wie auch von anderen Gästen beschrieben, außerordentlich freundlich, hilfsbereit, sowie bestens informiert. Hier hat man die Möglichkeit, viel über Armenien (seine Landschaft und Geschichte) und das Leben in dieser Region ganz unmittelbar zu erfahren. Russisch-Kenntnisse sind dabei hilfreich, wenn man die Landessprache nicht beherrscht. Trotz der Schlaufe der Fernstraße, die um das Grundstück führt, waren wir nicht durch Lärm und Abgase der vielen LKWs gestört. Die Seilbahn zum Kloster Tatev liegt am Ortseingang von Halidzor, wenn man aus Richtung Yerewan oder Goris kommt, und sie schwebt lautlos exakt über diese Unterkunft hinweg."

"Igor und seine Frau haben uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Wir wurden nach einer anstrengenden Fahrt mit 🍉 Melone, Kuchen 🍰, Kaffee ☕️ und Tee begrüßt. Später wurdew unser Abendessen nach unseren Wünschen ganz individuell zubereitet. Igor hat uns viele Reisetipps gegeben und viel von der Umgebung erzählt. "Being guests in a host's house is a traditional experience in Armenia, which we were looking for, and we enjoyed it in Igor's home. He and his wife represented the famous Armenian hospitality, and we were sad that we had only a single night in Tatev. We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed a nice conversation until late with the hosts, which ended with a nice gift for my papa, which was a very pleasant surprise for him, and he sends big thanks and greetings! Despite the language barrier, Igor did his best with Google Translate :) The house was very clean and we felt at home. The breakfast was so good that it was kind of an experience. Also, Igor helped us to find a driver to Old Khot."

"The hosts' hospitality was so amazing that we wished we could speak freely in English to understand more about Armenia and Tatev. Also, something to note is that the bathroom has been recorded as private in Booking; however, it's a shared one. It was very clean and as we were the only guests, it wasn't a problem."

"The owners of the inn are a friendly and enthusiastic local couple. We stayed here for one night and had a great experience. Igor and his wife tried their best to help us solve problems and provided us with local travel advice. The breakfast was rich and substantial. The room was clean and tidy, and the kitchen, bathroom and other facilities were also clean. Since it is a self-built house, the facilities are somewhat different from those of star-rated hotels. Overall, it offers great value for money."

"The views, food and the hosts are the best part about this place, I booked one night and ended up staying two. Delicious food made by Gowar (sorry if spelling is wrong) and an amazing evening spent with the couple. We spoke using google translate and it was no obstacle, if you want to experience true Armenian hospitality this place is an experience on its own. Homemade wine and vodka, homegrown food and lots of love. If I come back to Armenia in the future I will go out of my way to visit and stay with them. Igor also took my hiking and showed me the best spots in the area, I highly recommend! Also comfy beds and very clean."
