"Die Unterkunft liegt an einem sehr schönen Strand und es ist alles per Fuß zu erreichen. Es ist sehr ruhig und der Ausblick war ein Traum. Der Vermieter und sein Sohn waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haben uns ein Taxi besorgt und einmal hat uns der Sohn mitgenommen als er uns beim nachhause gehen vom Supermarkt gesehen hat."

"Das Appartement ist einfach ausgestattet, verfügt aber über alles, was es für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Unvergesslich ist die Terrasse, von der man stundenlang das Meer bestaunen und der ewigen Symphonie des Ozeans lauschen kann. Der Gastgeber ist ein sehr freundlicher Mensch, der es versteht, Gäste an seinem sehr schönen willkommen zu heißen. Zum Strand sind es knapp 2 Minuten. Im Ort findet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt, 2 Cafés, 2 Restaurants und üppige, fast unberührte Natur. Ich empfehle einen Aufenthalt in Rest Haven Beach Cottages aufs Wärmste"

"Die Rest Haven Cottages sind sehr einfach ausgestattet - aber man fühlt den Charme der ursprünglichen auf der Insel verbreiteten Chattel Häuser. Die Lage ist perfekt - für Menschen, die Ruhe haben möchten. Leider gibt es einige Bauvorhaben im Ort, so dass ich fürchte, die Ruhe hält nicht mehr lange an…das war nicht unser erster Aufenthalt - und auch nicht der Letzte…."

"The area is nice, with fresh breeze coming from the ocean. The cottage I stayed in was just the right size, providing intimacy for 2. There was cutlery and cookware to use, which was a plus as i preferred to prepare my meals. I appreciated that Mr Bostic checked on us during the middle of our stay, and tho he was close by, it was like he wasn't even there. (We stayed from Saturday til Monday..he checked the Sunday - that was good enough for me). I really appreciated that part."

"I gave a review of 8/10 due to mosquitoes and no TV. I informed Mr Bostic on leaving about the mosquito annoyance, and he indicated that he is looking at ways to address the issue. Ps would've been a plus to cuddle and watch TV at night. Would I go again? Yes, nothing a little repellant and laptop can't fix."

"The most amazing position on the whole of Barbados. Seafront at Bathsheba rock. Totally authentic local house. Fitz is typical of the Bajun welcome. So kind, friendly and informative. Made to feel as guests from the first minute of arrival. All the local people passing are so respectful and pleased to say hello. Keep this place precious. It’s an honourable community that welcomes travellers with a beaming smile and helpful tips to travelling guests. "Great location across the road from the Atlantic Ocean. Fitz was very friendly and accommodating. Being out of season it was very quiet but lovely. Dina’s was a great restaurant, very close to Rest Haven. Apparently Mick Jagger may have stayed here?!?!"

"The property looks exactly like the photos and was the perfect size for two people for two nights. There was no hot water but due to the temperature outside this was a blessing in disguise! It was great to see the east side of Barbados outside of the touristy areas however the beach by the property is not safe for swimming due to large waves which we fell asleep listening to. Bathsheba is very quiet and finding somewhere to eat in the evening was a bit difficult as most places shut at 4pm. Our host Fitz was very welcoming and friendly and was happy to give us advice of where we could find food! He was also very flexible with checkout."
