"Sehr neue Unterkunft in super Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und haben ein bequemes Bett, 2 Stühle und einen kleinen Tisch. Die Lage ist großartig!"

"Zahlung wird nur in USD akzeptiert. Wir wollten in Bolivianos bezahlen, und uns wurde der inoffizielle Wechselkurs zu USD angeboten (1 USD = 10 BOB). Alternativ konnten wir über einen per Email erhaltenen Link online in USD bezahlen, was etwas umständlich war. Es wäre schön, wenn das Hotel stattdessen Kreditkarten akzeptieren würde."

"Wir übernachten seit 12 Jahren in diesem Haus und freuen uns sehr, dass es wieder geöffnet hat. Die super Lage - mittendrin, aber im ruhigen Hinterhof - und Balkone sind unschlagbar! Die neuen Betreiber haben einiges erneuert. Fehlt etwas, muss man es nur sagen, dann wird einem sofort geholfen. Das Frühstück wurde verbessert. Es war immer sehr sauber. Wir wünschen dem Team viel Glück und hoffen, dass es das York House auch im nächsten Jahr noch gibt!"

"Schade, dass aus geräumigen Dreibettzimmern mit Privatbad nun Zimmer mit schmalen Doppelbetten mit nur einer Matratze und nur 1 Decke gemacht wurden. Die kann man wirklich nur noch als Paar nutzen, was ganz ruhig schläft.... aber es gibt schlimmeres"

"Breakfast is a bit poor. Beds are not very comfortable. Electrical sockets are not standard so the pins of the device that is plugged into the sockets are not held well and the contact is loose."

"I stayed at the York House twice while visiting Bolivia. All the hosts were always very kind and helpful and greeted me with a smile, Lia in particular was around the most during the stay and provided an amazing service. The location is great, being very central and right in the Witches Market. The beds are spacious and very comfortable. The rooms are quiet, allowing you to get enough rest. The breakfast was very nice too and so were the people that prepared it. The showers are very nice and warm. The wifi didn't always work in the entire room during my first stay, but during my second stay they changed the Wifi and it worked a lot better and reached the entire room. Would recommend staying here!"

"At first I was worried about the lack of reviews, but after I arrived it was obvious the place is a brand new setup and the staff is doing everything to make it even better. I really enjoyed the breakfast that was like on the pictures plus option for fried eggs on request. The hot water and good water pressure was also very much appreciated. The staff was super friendly, helpful, answered all my questions, and gave advice about the neighborhood and sightseeing options. They also let me keep my luggage at the reception until my night bus was leaving."
