Hotel Carmacks

"Zum Hotel gehört ein Restaurant. Hier gab es gute Speisen und große Portionen. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Geräumige und saubere Zimmer. Alles hat gut funktioniert."

"Viel Auswahl gibt es in Carmacks nicht. Ich würde nicht sagen, dass etwas nicht gefallen hat. Aber es war schon etwas ungewöhnlich. Das Zimmer und den Code für die Tür müsste man telefonisch anfordern. In Carmacks selber gibt es 3 Restaurants, 1 davon schließt um 18 Uhr. Frühstück gab es leider nicht, weil der Koch nicht erschienen ist. Aber alle sind super freundlich und es war ein netter, etwas anderer, Zwischenstopp"

"Recht leckerer Kaffee in der Lobby, allerdings musste ich die Rezeption morgens darauf aufmerksam machen, dass Kaffeekapseln fehlten. Zimmer geräumig und Betten bequem. Kühlschrank vorhanden. Zimmer recht modern. Bad innenliegend. Alles ok bis auf den Duschvorhang."

"Der Duschvorhang hatte seine Lebensdauer hinter sich. Der Flur war sehr altbacken, Teppich müsste raus."

"The room was great (I liked the layout of the room, the coffee maker and microwave having their own little area, as weird as that sounds lol), quiet and clean. Parking was easy. There was also a riverside walking path right behind the building, as well as a general store (with some souvenirs too) in front. Decent food too. It's (I believe) the only hotel option in Carmacks, but luckily it's a solid choice either way, with everything you could need for an overnight. Would stay again."

"Check in was a little confusing, but noticed a sign saying to check in at the attached pub, and that was quick and easy. Didn't affect my stay or experience at all though."

"Convenient stop from Whitehorse to Dawson City. The staff are very welcoming and there is a good on site restaurant."

"The room door entry system did not feel secure. Couldn't get a restful nights sleep because noise from other guests on the floor above."

"The hotel is one of the few places to stay on the long drive to Dawson City. The room was comfortable and food choices were fair. Very expensive accommodation."

"Great beds, good wifi, nice microwave and fridge with freezer. Really liked the keyless entry as well."

"A little wear and tear here and there, and unless you know it's behind the store, you may not be able to find it. I found the air freshener in the lobby to be a little overpowering."

"Room was clean and as advertised/expected. No real complaints."

"No actual counter staff. Have to call in at check in to get a door code. Don't really like that way of doing it, but to be honest the process was flawless and worked. Just would prefer to talk face to face."

"Perfect distance for a stopover on our trip to Dawson City. The location turned to be much better than expected. The location near the river gives ample opportunity to take a walk. Accessing the room was done remotely which was a little odd but seemed to work seamlessly."

"The room and building were overly warm and a bit stuffy plus the A/C was noisey so could t be used when we wanted to sleep."
