"Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten bequem.Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche und Schnorchel und Flossen sind auch vorhanden. Die Besitzerin ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit, obwohl sie kein Englisch spricht haben wir gut mit ihr kommunizieren können .Sie organisiert auch Touren und Taxis . Ein Wasserspender ist auch vorhanden. wir können das Hostal empfehlen."

"Eine der besten Unterkünfte auf meiner Südamerikareise. Sehr sauber! gute Klimaanlage, super Dusche mit heissem Wasser, Wasserspender, gut eingerichtete Gemeinschaftsküche, Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Sofas, bequeme Betten. Tägliche Reinigung wird angeboten. Ruhige Lage mit viel Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Das Wlan ist super. Luisa ist eine unglaublich tolle Frau, sie sorgt für alles was man braucht, gab und Tipps für Touren (inkl. organisieren eines Fahrers) und Dinge zum selbst erleben. Schnorchel kann man ohne Gebür ausleihen. Alles in allem: eine perfekt Unterkunft, wir haben es sehr genossen und empfehlen die Unterkunft und Luisa allen!"

"The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and had a private bathroom with hot water and shampoo provided. The shared kitchen facilities were fully equipped including oil and coffee to share, and free bananas during our stay. The rest of the shared living area was clean and had a large sofa with a smart TV and drinking water fountain for refills. There were also spare snorkels and fins available. The host Luisa is very friendly and helpful. Luisa messaged us to organise an early check in, was easily contactable, and made us feel very welcome. This place is great value for money."

"Really good facilities with good shared kitchen and lots of utensils and equipment, a washing machine and shops just outside. They helped to arrange trips and were chatty and helpful while we were there. Only a short walk away from the main area, around 5-10 minutes. Good Wi-Fi and a nice clean bedroom."

"I had a great stay at Casa Puka. Luisa is an amazing host, very kind and helpful, and her family is adorable. She is always reachable via WhatsApp for everything and can suggest beaches, tours, taxi numbers etc. The place is very clean and my room was really spacious for one person. The hot water and air conditioning work very well, and the bed is comfortable. There is a water dispenser in the kitchen available to use, which is great considering how hot it was in San Cristobal! Fins and masks for snorkeling are also available to borrow for no extra cost. The place is around 10 min walking distance from the main streets by the muelle, and also 10 min away from Playa Mann. I would return if I went back to San Cristobal."

"The shared kitchen and room were both amazing, super clean and fantastic. Luisa the host is super friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable and there is drinking water available to all guests which were our highlight, especially nice cold water!"

"Sometimes the shower goes cold if you have the air con on at the same time but it’s not a problem as the weather is so hot anyway! And the Aircon was right above the bed so sometimes it got breezy in the night, but it was impossible to sleep without the Aircon as it is so hot!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Puca. Luisa was an amazing host - always reachable via WhatsApp, very quick to respond, and incredibly helpful with organizing taxis and tours. She cleaned the room daily and regularly checked if we needed anything. The kitchen was very well equipped, even with basics like oil and salt, and we could borrow snorkeling equipment from the hotel. We were also pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade, which shows how great the service is. Luisa is extremely friendly and caring. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!"
