"Die Betten waren bequem (keine Selbstverständlichkeit in Hotels!) und das Zimmer gut augestattet. Wir haben das "Arctic Zone" als Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg von karelien nach Nordnorwegen gewählt. Hierfür war das Haus wirklich gut geeignet."

"Im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Hotels fiel das Angebot beim Frühstücksbuffet merklich ab. Wir vermissten u.a. Rührei und Baked Beans. Aber wie erwähnt: Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut! Der "Ort" Ruka - sofern man von einem Ort sprechen kann, ist gewiss ein begehrtes Wintersportzentrum. Als Nicht-Wintersportler fühlten wir uns hier ein wenig deplatziert."

"Hotel itself was very clean, we had a nice, spacious apartment. Great location right in the middle of ski village. Nice balcony."

"Closed reception outside the season, so you need to enter through the restaurant, which has a separate entrance. Same with entering restaurant - you can’t get inside from the hotel, you need to first go outside, pass a couple of stairs that were most of the time covered with snow, as the internal entrance is closed. It would be nice to have a kettle, plates and some tea in the room, considering the above. Poor quality of food in the hotel restaurant - breakfast was’t bad, although pretty basic. Very nice lady serving everything that we needed, but other meals, outside breakfast were totally not worth their price. Usually I wouldn’t comment on the restaurant, but since it’s a hotel one, and outside season there are limited places open, it’s worth flagging it."
