CHALET IBEX & SPA

"Located in a very attractive ski area with lots of runs. Chalet was spacey with a good dining area with a large table sufficient for 12 people and well equipped bedrooms—each with a large double bed or two single beds, a desk and chair and en suite bathroom. The chalet has a good laundry room and TV viewing area. The hot tub was much appreciated. The kitchen has lots of equipment, including a good coffee machine, microwave and large stove."

"The chalet has a steep access road which can be tricky with heavy snow unless one’s car has good snow tyres or chains. The walk to the nearest ski lift takes 20 minutes or more and the local bus 400 metres walk away is often very crowded. The chalet is spread over 4 floors. 6 of the 7 bedrooms are separated from the living area by a steep set of stairs open to the elements. The most serious shortcoming was the absence of WiFi in the living area of the chalet, which was contrary to what the owner had promised. The sitting area was furnished with uncomfortable benches; there were no sofas or armchairs anywhere in the chalet. We had problems operating the gas oven; fortunately there was also an electric oven which worked well."

"Très beau chalet, bien aménagé et agréable à vivre en groupe. Les espaces sont confortables, le spa et le bain finlandais sont vraiment un plus après une journée de ski. L’environnement est calme, parfait pour se détendre. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour."
