"So stelle ich mir das Landleben in Frankreich vor! Mitten im Grünen und man hört nur die Vögel, Grillen und die Hähne krähen. Zum Frühstück gab es erstklassige Backwaren und frische Eier von den eigenen Hühnern. Die Eier konnten wir uns dann selbst so zubereiten, wie wir sie mögen. So simpel und so gut! Besonders praktisch: Es gibt die Möglichkeit sein Elektroauto an einer 2kw Steckdose aufzuladen. Das hat super funktioniert und so konnten wir ganz unkompliziert die Gegend erkunden und nachts laden. "Ein Seifenspender im Bad wäre hilfreich. Ansonsten war die Wohnung wirklich top ausgestattet und hatte alles was wir hätten brauchen können!"

"The accommodation was in beautiful surroundings, and we had a great patio area that was elevated where we sunbathed, sat out on a night and star gazed (and drank) and also BBQ'd on. Inside the accommodation was beautifully presented and had a huge bed which was so comfortable with good quality bedding. The shared pool area was also perfect and was never too busy with lots of sunbeds. The hosts were both amazing too, so friendly and helpful and always up for a chat or advice. Overall the place just had a lovely laid back feel to it, and was absolutely immaculate. It's also in a rural but great location as about 20 mins drive from 2 great towns Montignac and Sarlat."

"I hate to criticise as we had such a nice stay, and I would definitely recommend the place so I'll say this was only a "slight" negative and we manged to get around it by barbecuing lots (which I like doing anyway), but there was no oven in the accommodation, but I guess there just wasn't the room to fit it in as is a large studio style accommodation."

"In lovely, peaceful countryside north of Sarlat. There is plenty of space to sit outside, lots of activities including a games room, trampoline and volleyball/badminton net. The pool is in an especially beautiful location. The friendly hosts have thought of everything you might need and are extremely hospitable."

"Fantastic place to discover the Perigord, more sightseeing within 20 minutes drive than we could cover in a week, but moreover one of the best holiday places we stayed- big gite, nicely decorated, fantastic place were the kids can play, swim ( big pool!) in a set up that is spacious. And the hosts Pierre and Sandrine are super kind, professional ( and great cook’s) , and deserve the best host award :)"

"The gite was beautiful, welcoming and well furnished. There were a number of facilities we had access to, like the lounge and swimming pool. We loved meeting the animals in their enclosure. Sandrine and Pierre were exceptional hosts, very welcoming and met us personally when we arrived."

"Pierre and Sandrine are fantastic hosts! Their attention detail and quality is evident throughout the spacious property and accommodation. Gîte was furnished with great linens and kitchen utensils. Location is near prehistoric sites and Sarlat. Wifi in the common area is good. Although there is no wifi in the gîte, mobile reception is good and using data is not a problem. If you are considering reserving this gîte, do it! We hope to return soon."

"Le gite est très bien situé à proximité de tous les sites touristiques : Lascaux, Chateaux, Gouffre de Padirac, etc... Les hôtes sont très accueillants et les dîners des lundi et vendredi soirs sont très appréciés pour de belles rencontres. Je recommande ce gîte, l'Olivier pour sa fraicheur malgré la chaleur de cette semaine. La terrasse est également ombragée jusqu'en début d'après midi et ai bien agréable !"

"De eigenaars zijn heel fijne vriendelijke mensen, alles was tip top in orde en proper verzorgd, nog nooit zo prima in orde ! De BBQ en Pizza avond is een must om mee te doen ! Bij ontvangst ook nog een fles wijn, fles appelsap en een rilette gekregen, Wij keren met veel plezier terug! Aanrader!"
