"Die Lage, die Ausstattung! Es war eine ganz außergewöhnlich liebevoll eingerichtete FeWo, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Schaukel im Wohnzimmer, die Farbwelten der Wohnung, das geschmackvolle und sehr praktisch eingerichtete Schlafzimmer, die begehbare Dusche und der kleine Außenhock im Hof. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und das Viertel ruhig, obwohl mitten in der Altstadt. Einmal ums Eck und man ist mitten im Szeneviertel. Die Schlösser der Loire sind von Tours aus alle sehr gut erreichbar."

"Es ist zwar möglich, das Auto kurz vor der Tür auszuladen, Dauerparken aber recht teuer. Wir sind jeden Tag 15 Minuten zu einem kostenlosen Parkbereich gelaufen, was aber bei der schönen Stadt nichts ausmacht."

"We managed the very restrictive parking in the street but because all of Tours has punitive/ no free parking, we ensured that we prolonged our chateau/lunch visits and never had the chance to spend any time or money in Tours itself. Other places we visited had free parking and good restaurants."

"The apartment is very nice and well equipped. It is decorated with care about details. The location is nice and central."

"It was unsettling to sleep with open windows as they are positioned at the street level, so we did not feel very comfortable and safe. At the same time, it was necessary to keep the windows open as much as possible in order to ventilate the space. When we arrived, we found some breadcrumbs in the kitchen and hairs on the carpet. Also, the shower tube needs additional cleaning. The toilet flush functions only if you keep the left hand button continuously, while pressing briefly the right hand button. We did not have any instructions regarding this, so it took us two days to figure out how to flush water properly."

"Apartment was charming, characterful but with all modern amenities. Very comfortable bed, kitchen had everything required for our stay and appreciated the coffee pods. Great location with access to areas of interest and relaxed eating. A bonus to be within easy reach of train station."

"Our only issue was that we didn’t have WiFi working for most of the week. Host tried to sort (and it was beyond their control I believe - a technical issue with the network) but it was a huge pain to have to go out for coffee to do social media posts."

"As it is in the old part of Tours the roads are narrow and often one way so driving there is a challenge!! We always found somewhere to park close by and you just pay from 9 to 6.30 ( with 2 hours free at lunchtime!)."
