"Was uns gefallen hat? ALLES! Die Architektur ist einzigartig. Die goldfarbenen Kaffeekapseln strahlen bei Sonne um die Wette. Den angrenzenden Park mit den Skulpturen sind wir am Anreisetag und noch einmal vor der Abreise abgelaufen und haben auch beim zweiten Mal gestaunt über Kreativität und Fertigungsqualität der Künstler. Eine sehr gute Idee, unmittelbar neben dem Château des Pères de Piré sur Seiche dieses architektonisch reizvolle Hotel zu bauen."

"This is a wonderful and unique place, the rooms are ergonomically designed and so comfortable with great views; the spa is beautiful; the glasshouse cocktail bar is stunning and the drinks insanely good; the excellent food is focused on high quality local ingredients; the grounds are full of beautiful old buildings paired with bold art. The location in rural Brittany is perfect for a luxury escape, with the amenities of Rennes just 30 mins drive. It’s expensive of course, but well worth it — we’ve been twice and will visit again."

The hotel’s architecture is stunning, truly a one-of-a-kind design that blends futuristic elements with natural surroundings. The rooms are incredibly cozy, with a minimalist yet modern vibe. Our room had a large, circular window that filled the space with natural light and gave it an intimate feel. The dining experience was fantastic, with fresh and well-prepared dishes. We enjoyed a delicious meal with drinks, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, with beautiful views of the grounds. The indoor pool area was another highlight—immaculately clean, with a unique artistic touch thanks to a striking diving sculpture. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, The Essenciel Hotel exceeded our expectations with its mix of modern design, comfort, and tranquility. A must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay!"

"From the moment we arrived at L'EssenCiel we knew it was special, the appearance as you drive up is Wow! The staff at the reception desk and everywhere in the Hotel are attentive/polite and professional. The pool/spa area is wonderful, breakfast is a delight and the room sublime. We upgraded our room on site to a Nid Celeste and benefitted from the view on the 5th floor."

"My only concern was the restricted car parking spaces, these are quite narrow and 50% of the car park is dedicated to EV charging - as the majority of these were empty most of the time, regular vehicles often had to park in the spaces. Other than this fairly minor gripe there is absolutely nothing that we didn't like."
