"Wow was für ein kleines Paradis. Wunderschönes Haus in einem grossen Garten. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sehr bequeme Betten. Frühstück war ein Traum. Wir waren leider nur auf der Durchreise, nächstes mal planen wir einen längeren Stopp ein!"

"Die Eigner des Hotels waren sehr freundlich und haben wegen uns das Hotel geöffnet (Nebensaison). Zimmer, Essen, die Einrichtung und das ganze Drumherum waren hervorragend, wir wären gerne noch einen Tag geblieben."

"Wunderschönes Anwesen direkt am Canal du Midi, mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail renoviert und eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind ein Traum, der Empfang herzlich und aufmerksam und das „Table d’hôte“ unbedingt zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und liebevoll serviert. Absolut zu empfehlen!"

"We had a fabulous stay. Charles and Candy are wonderful hosts. The dinner we had during our stay was superb; the Al fresco breakfasts were enormous and delicious (special shout out for the Spanish style tomato topped bread - simple but wonderful). The location is brilliant for exploring Beziers. We had a car but if coming by rail it would be perfect. My wife had a great massage arranged by Candy; we had a lovely afternoon by the pool in the sun. Charles gave us some good tips to explore Beziers … We’ll definitely be back."

"Nothing not to like as a whole but, as a couple of people have commented, our beautiful room had a shower over a freestanding bath. It was fine for us and it suited the room perfectly … but it’s one of those where many people would probably favour ease/ function over prettiness. Anyway, not a negative as such - just an observation."

"Maison Jullian is a very elegant, charming place, a really good option if you want to have a calm, relaxing stay. The owners are friendly, kind, and have great taste. The location is very convenient whether you travel by car or by train. Béziers is a very interesting and beautiful little city. We will definitely visit again."

"The location, directly at the Canal du Midi, is beautiful. Garden is nice, with natural looking pool. With only a couple of rooms, very charming. We stayed in the larger room which offered two balconies, one of them being a roof terrace with view on canal and one of the locks. With 40 m2 the room was very spacious and because of the many windows it is possible to cool down the room in the evening (in absence of air-conditioning). Charming and personal touch by owners and our dinner at the Maison was perfect, very high quality of food and wine options. Definitely a great recommendation! City is walking distance (10-15 minutes) and beach can be reached in 20 minutes by car."

"Candy and Charles were so kind and welcoming. The food was exceptionally good, and it was so delightful to eat outside in the garden. We appreciated the swimming pool as it was very hot. The house is fascinating and beautifully decorated. It was so interesting to hear about its history from Candy. She also offered us great suggestions for sightseeing, and booked us into an excellent restaurant for an evening meal. I can't recommend a stay with them highly enough. Beziers is a delightful place too. We hope to come back!"

"We absolutely loved this unique hotel. The hosts are so friendly and service minded. Make sure you eat at this hotel (there is honestly hard to find anything better around). The breakfast spread was scrumptious and I still think back about having it in my bathrobe under the Magnolia tree in the garden. If you appreciate shabby chic, you’ll love this renovated 19th century mansion. Great attention to (unique) details and quality. The interior is a personal mix of antiques and newer pieces. A place to long back to!"
