MAISON RENARD

"Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und konnten schnell und unkompliziet einchecken. Unser Zimmer war sehr gross und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Krönung war jedoch das im Vorfeld gebuchte Abendessen, ein Mehrgang-Menü auf Michelin Sterneniveau. Schade, dass wir das Hotel nur als Zwischenübernachtung gebucht haben.... Auch das Frühstück im Aussenbereich war top"

"Es war alles sehr gut"

"The room we had was really lovely, spacious and clean. Well equipped bathroom, separate WC and large walk-in shower. There was a useful wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. The very large bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast, ordered the previous evening, was served in our rooms at the specified time and was terrific. Lots of choice and very good quality. The staff were friendly and very helpful. On first arrival, note that check-in time began only at 18.00h, and they mean it. The place was shut until then. This is really a restaurant with very nice rooms, rather than a general purpose hotel. After that, there is an access code for a side door with 24h access, which was fine. Tons of paid parking in the square outside, free on Sundays and one can use pay-by-phone."

"The wifi in our rooms was a bit disappointing - couldn't use for much, but then we didn't go to use the internet!"

"lovely hotel very friendly and professional staff and excellent restaurant whats not to love"

"The location is very central and parking is available very close by. Our room was lovely with a breakfast bar, sofa and a large bathroom. The restaurant has fantastic food and wine and is excellent value for money which was the main reason for our visit. We had a different 5 course tasting menu each evening during our two day stay."

"Was very clean and very comfortable. Located next to the main square"

"Public car park you have to pay extra"

"This a boutique hotel centred around the gourmet restaurant. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They carried our bikes for storage in the Cave overnight. The room was well situated and quiet. The dinner was stylishly presented and served. Nice breakfast delivered to the room."

"For the money this hotel is brillant location is perfect and, breakfast in the bedroom was a lovely bonus, the staff were really polite and friendly"

"Incredibly welcoming and helpful staff set the tone. The bedroom was great with its tea and coffee making facilities and a comfy sofa to relax on. The bed was really comfortable too and we didn't hear a sound from outside - including the famous chiming clock tower! The location was ideal - within minutes, we were in the central square, able to enjoy the shops and restaurants. We had breakfast in our room and it was delicious with local produce.. Would definitely recommend it!"

"Lots of stairs! Pack light and be ready for the climb."

"Clean and pleasant spacious room. Quiet away from road. Restaurant had a lovely ambiance and staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We had the 5 course menu. All of it was beautifully presented and marvellous flavours with creative combinations. All in all a great experience."

"Late check in of 5.00pm. Would preferred 4.00pm"
