Ferndale Lodge, a family-run guest house, is placed only a few minutes’ stroll from the centre of the charming Lake District town of Ambleside. With free parking. Light, airy rooms each include tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a TV and shower room. Some rooms also enjoy splendid views over Ambleside. Now offering a room only basis giving you total flexibility, have a lie in, a late brunch or an early lunch and the opportunity to enjoy the Lake District from the early morning. The cruise boats on Lake Windermere are 10 minutes’ walk away, whilst scenic Rydal Water is a 2 mile-drive. Windermere town is 5 miles away, accessible by buses that stop 2 minutes walk from the Lodge. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all rooms and throughout the property. Dogs are only allowed in the specific pet friendly room type. The King size room is on the ground floor.

"Sehr zentral gelegen mit Nähe zum sehr schönen Stadtpark. Ruhige Lage obwohl mitten in der Stadt. Für uns als Hundebesitzer war das hundefreundliche Zimmer im Nebenbau ideal."

"Great location in the centre of Ambleside. I needed a dog friendly room and this was ideal as it is a separate property behind the main guest house with its own entrance. A Parking permit is provided for the car park next door and other car parks in the area. The owner Rob was very helpful."
