"The light and fan kept randomly turning on in the (ensuite) bathroom throughout the night, even with the door shut it was disturbing."

"Just what I needed after a tiring week hiking, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, great breakfast (lovely kitchen staff, especially the young lady managing the hot food service on a busy morning). Lots of places for refreshment nearby, and all local sites within walking distance. And the bed was made!"

"Great location, right on the walking trails. The staff were very welcoming and the hostel has a friendly and social atmosphere. Our private quadruple room was very clean, spacious enough and quiet. Nice decor and plenty of room to store clothes. Loved the breakfast, great cooked food and plenty of continental provisions as well."

"Wow, hadn’t stayed in a hostel in 10 years and this really impressed! Cheap, perfect location, clean great facilities and the member of staff we spoke to was welcoming and very helpful even though we didn’t arrive until 9:30pm. Was a perfect base for us for the three peaks challenge. Would definitely stay again, even taking the family next time to explore Malham. Thank you couldn’t have asked for any more."

"Echte Gastgeber, die uns herzlich aufgenommen und es an nichts fehlen haben lassen. Schönes Haus mit schönem Garten, schöne Zimmer, sehr sauber. Feines Frühstück mit Wahlmöglichkeiten. Lage - Terry hat es mit seiner Freundlichkeit wettgemacht - er hat uns schnell in den Ort gefahren und wieder abgeholt :-)"

"niedlich, gemütlich, sauber, netter Eigentümer, leckeres Frühstück (kein Buffet), kurzer Weg bis in den Ort, dort gibt es eine Vielzahl an Cafés und Restaurants, der See mit Hafen ist auch nicht weit, wenn man ohne Auto kommt oder nicht fahren will, kann man einfach den Bus nehmen (fährt fast direkt vor der Tür ab) mit dem man gut an andere Ecken des Lake District kommt."
