"Das Hotel hat einen wunderschön angelegten Garten. Nicht jedes Zimmer hat aufgrund der üppigen Flora & Bäume einen Blick auf die Vulkane. Das Personal bemüht sich, alle wünschen der Gäste zu erfüllen, und so war es absolut kein Problem das Zimmer (mit traumhaftem Blick) zu wechseln. Aviation Fans komme hier ebenfalls auf ihre Kosten. Heli Landeplatz direkt auf dem Hotelgelände 😍. Koloniale Einrichtung und die typisch bunten guatemaltekischen Textilien sorgen für Gemütlichkeit."

"Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Panajachel. Mit dem Hotel eigenem tuck tuck wird man bequem und preiswert in das Dorf gebracht. Das Hotel selbst liegt idyllisch in einem Reservat ähnlichen Umfeld. Die Gartenanlage ist sehr schön gestaltet und lädt zum Verweilen auf. In der gleichen Bucht sind weitere Unterkünfte sowie drei Hochhäuser die nicht wirklich das Landschaftsbild passen, da sie etwas verdeckt sind sie nicht wirklich weiter störend. Der Pool ist etwas klein, schwimmen ist nur bedingt möglich, trotzdem malerisch und einladend. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut, Frühstücksbuffet ausgezeichnet Mit dem Service sind wir sehr zufrieden gewesen ."

"The hotel is very beautiful and very well maintained in the exterior parts. Wonderful gardens and a nice pool. The food is great and the staff is welcoming. The hotel is located in a quiet and calm place which makes the stay experience more pleasant."

"The room was a bit old and not properly maintained. The shower head was not easy to operate, the doors are not painted properly. Communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was almost impossible, I c ould not reach them by phone , or by booking. Although they ask to communicate with them by what’s up they never answered , and they did not respond to the messages I sent through Booking except once . However, the stay at the hotel made up for it. But there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of communication levels"

"The hotel is really beautiful. The gardens are exquisite and the views over the lake are exceptional. My room was really pretty and comfortable with a terrace overlooking the gardens and lake. The restaurant was great too and not that expensive for a fancy hotel. There’s a nice pool area and you can use a tiny beach like area beside the lake too."

"For the area it’s ridiculously expensive and clearly designed for rich tourists (there’s even a helipad so you can fly in). And the price doesn’t even include breakfast. Also the WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms, only the communal areas. It’s also a bit out of the way and you have to take a TukTuk to get to anywhere. They usually come quite quickly, but it’s a pain and they hike their prices up for hotel guests."

"Hotel Atitlan is exactly how we expected it. The views and gardens are absolutely stunning. We also tried the restaurant in the evening, and it was very good. The decoration is beautiful everywhere. The staff is very attentive, they made our stay particularly enjoyable."
