Leider hat der Whirlpool nicht funktioniert

"Amazing location right on the beach, quiet surroundings yet not too far away from shops, restaurants and the city center. The house was spacious and clean with A.C., a fan and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. Mr. Dagobert was very kind and welcoming, he also picked us up from the station. Thank you, it was a really nice stay!"

Keep in mind the accomodation is very basic and I think some renovations could be done, for instance our room didn’t have mosquito nets.

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

Bad ist schon ziemlich klein.

"Wir hatten zu zweit das Familienzimmer, was sehr groß war. Die Klimaanlage war top und an den Fußenden. Der Wasserstrahl in der großen Dusche war erstaunlich stark, perfekt für lange Haare;-) Zum Frühstück kann man Wünsche äußern, die wie fast alles, liebevoll umgesetzt werden. Kaffee war sehr lecker und alles mehr als ausreichend. Auch Abendessen kann man für den nächsten Tag bestellen. Absolut lecker! Der Pool und Garten sind super sauber und Nachts ist es absolut still. Zum Strand sind es fünf Minuten, ebenso ein kleiner Supermarkt. Auch Restaurants sind Fußläufig erreichbar. Für uns eine Ruheoase in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Vielen Dank an die super netten Gastgeber Sonia + Brandon."

Das blaue Licht im Bad ist etwas zu dunkel, wenn man sich Abends fertig machen möchte. Kein W-LAN. Eine Ablagemöglichkeit im Bad wäre schön.

"Since I read the book who the owner Dorota wrote, I really wanted to visit Vanilla House. And it was as I imagined, even better!!! The sound of the ocean at night...The breeze.. The food... The view... I loved it!!!!"

"Frühstück reichlich und gut, osteuropäisch (Sauerkraut, Würste etc), aber auch Ei und Brote und Marmelade. Orangensaft hat gefehlt."

Orangensaft hat gefehlt, ist mir persönlich aber nicht so wichtig. Statt Butter gab es so was ähnliches.

"Zimmer groß und geräumig. Das Bad war sehr modern, Dusche sehr groß mit 2 Sprühköpfen. Lage an einer Ausfallstrasse östlich von Cork. Das Hotel konnte man nur von der Fahrbahn Richtung Osten erreichen. Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück des Hotels genügend vorhanden. Tankstelle direkt nebenan. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten keine in der näheren Umgebung. Grosses Einkaufszentrum ca. 3 km entfernt - Parkplätze dort in einem großen Parkhaus kostenfrei. Full Irish Breakfast möglich - sonst alles da, was man braucht."

Ein Kleiderschrank im Zimmer wäre schön gewesen. Verkehrsmässig und Lage des Hotels nicht so gut. Mit Auto aber kein Problem.

"Location was perfect and the house was super clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The owners were awesome and even brought us fresh picked fruit. The view from the front room with its oversized sliding door is spectacular. This picture was taken right out the front door."

"We very spontaneously managed to arrange accommodation in an emergency situation. The landlady was immediately reachable by phone and even came to meet us by car so that we could find the accommodation quickly. She arranged a taxi for us into the city and helped us with the payment, as we no longer had any cash. The landlady was extremely helpful and very accommodating. We also liked the accommodation a lot, especially the view from the balcony."

"Keeps its promises. The owner, Mr Fadiga saved my life after the Radisson hotel had cancel my booking (and the booking of 30+ guests) without informing us of this in advance. Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

Durch Rihad ähnliches Haus natürlich speziell gen Innenhof sehr geräuschempfindlich - aber Personal und auch die Gäste waren bemüht leise zu sein. Hat also trotzdem gut gepasst.

Kann die Unterkunft nichts dafür, aber Balkon nur mit viel Mückenspray nutzbar.

"We had a really wonderful time at Hotel Dionisio Inn! It's close to everything you may want to visit in Antigua and the staff was really wonderful, kind, and attentive. Even if the language barrier, they always remembered what we were up to and asked how things were. Whenever we had a question, they were always ready to help out. It's not often that we've met such helpful and nice staff members. The room was clean, comfortable, and so much better than a lot of other places we stayed at on our trip in Guatemala. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again if we ever go back to Antigua."

"Sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Betreiber. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und in einem gehobenen Quartier. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig, reichhaltig und lecker. Zur nächsten Bushaltestelle sind es gut 10 Gehminuten, die Fahrt ins Zentrum 20 Minuten. Unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in Krakau würden wir wieder hier verbringen."

"es herrscht eine lockere Atmosphäre, mir wurde zur Begrüßung, weil ich nach einer längeren Radfahrt müde aussah eine leckere Suppe serviert. die Behausungen auf dem Dach sind zwar einfach, aber bieten alles was man sich benötigt. Die hilights sind, es ist ruhig, man kann unter freiem Himmel duschen, und frühstücken. Man kann Samba den Häusern nach allem fragen und er bietet für alles eine Lösung. Er hatte mir bspw für meine weitere Fahrt gegen den Wüstenstaub eine Skibrille herbei gezaubert"

Die Bettdecke währe angenehmer aus Baumwolle, aber ich bin sicher, hätte ich danach gefragt, hatte ich eine bekommen, aber ich hatte einen Schlafsack und ein Mückennetz selbst dabei

"Es war super, ich konnte ohne Probleme mein Gepäck zwischenlagern. Auch ein Einchecken deutlich früher war ohne Probleme und extrakosten möglich. Der Shuttle zum Flughafen hat super funktioniert. Sogar mein Gepäck wurde bis ins Hostel gebracht."

Nicht gefallen ist übertrieben.... aber ich glaube, ohne den Flughafenshuttle hätte ich das Hostel nicht gefunden.
