"The resort was perfect for the price, had everything you could need."

The walk to to the beach is not bad it is right across the street however it is not a main beach so make sure to have water shoes. we didn't swim there and walked down to the area's with most of the resorts. That is a solid 20-30 minute walk one way. The only issue with walking was that if you want restaurants they are down there so having a car would be more convenient.

"Chalet was cozy, warm, nice. Exceptional for couples. Wood gave a warm atmosphere. Fantastic details using wood."

I requested additional decoration, but it was very basic.

Leider wird kein Frühstück angeboten.

"Die Unterkunft ist gut zu erreichen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Wir waren hier 2 Nächte und konnten unsere Zeit hier genießen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und stets erreichbar. Das Highlight ist die Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Eine Küche bietet die Möglichkeit sich gut selbst zu versorgen."

"Es war alles vorhanden was man so braucht (ausser einen Flaschenöffner). Das Apartment ist in einem Garten, in dem du eine Tour durch die Kräuter und Blumen machen kannst. Pflücken darfst du sie auch und kannst damit kochen. Dann haben uns die Eigentümer eine hausgemachte Seife hingelegt für die Hände und ein liebevoll zubereitete Kaffeeportion für 2 Tage. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse war atemberaubend schön."

Dadurch, dass es ein Self-Checkin war fand ich es ein wenig umständlich. Der Code für das Garagentor und die Schlüsselbox wurden einzeln preisgegeben. Die Besitzerin war zwar super erreichbar und dadurch konnten wir auch gleich einchecken.

"Die Vermieterin war unglaublich nett und hat uns immer Früchte aus ihrem Garten gebracht. Die Lage an der Bucht ist sehr idyllisch und ruhig. Das Schlafzimmer hat an allen Fenstern Moskitonetze. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht ( auch Kaffee, Zucker, Öl, Gewürze) die Sitzmöglichkeit direkt am Wasser war großartig."

Internet sehr langsam. Unglaublich viele Mosquitos.

"Nicely maintained park-like surroundings. Peaceful and quiet location. Barbecue facilities (you must bring all necessary items, no services within walking distance)."

The receptionist did not speak English, so the check-in was a bit challenging. English instructions on a printed sheet would have helped.

"Peaceful location with a beautiful garden, spacious and comfortable rooms and very amazing hosts. They gave us tea and a bottle of their fantastic homemade lavender shampoo made from herbes harvested in the garden. It is a sustainable little paradise."

The window on the ceiling let in a little too much light, but this is only a problem on the bed below it (and it heats up the room very well during the day - which is crucial due to the cold nights).

"民泊は初めてでしたが宿泊前から道順や鍵の開け方、ロケーションなど丁寧に教えていただき、当日も質問にはすぐに対応してもらえ安心でした。 キッチンも充実していて鍋食器カトラリー揃っていました。"

部屋のドアの開閉に音がするのが気になりました。

"Es handelt sich hierbei um so ein Trailerhaus, ähnlich wie man es aus den amerikanischen Filmen kennt. Für 1 - 2 Nächte absolut in Ordnung. Der Check-In war reibungslos. Der Schlüssel steckte einfach in der Tür. Wir mussten nur rausfinden, welches Haus uns gehört. Das war an der Rezeption ausgeschildert. Für uns war das nur ein Zwischenstopp. Aber ein guter. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Auf den Weg zur Unterkunft haben wir uns noch Hraunfossar und Deildartunguhver angeschaut. Auf der Weiterfahrt sind wir schnell in Borgarnes gewesen und konnten unsere Route von dort aus fortsetzen. Wir würden wieder kommen."

Es knarzt beim umherlaufen und Türen bewegen. Das war für uns aber in Ordnung, da wir sowieso nur eine Nacht dort geschlafen haben. Wir sind zu dritt gewesen. Die Hütten sind schmal. Es ist schwer 3 Koffer zu öffnen, ohne das alle vollgestellt ist.

It's a bit far from city center and from restaurants, so few options for vegetarians like me.
