"Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht hat. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit – besonders hervorheben möchte ich Claudia, die sich sehr um mein Wohlbefinden bemüht hat. Mir hat außerdem sehr gefallen, dass man mit den Gastgebern zusammenlebt, was eine besonders persönliche und herzliche Atmosphäre schafft."

Das Zimmer ist recht hellhörig, sodass man Geräusche aus den anderen Zimmern deutlich mitbekommt. Außerdem wird viel Wert darauf gelegt, das Zimmer direkt bei Ankunft zu bezahlen, allerdings ist keine Kreditkartenzahlung möglich. Wenn man vom Flughafen kommt, muss man daher zunächst in die Stadt fahren, um Bargeld abzuheben, was etwas umständlich ist.

"Von der Haupstrasse geht eine Naturstrasse zur Unterkunft, welche kein Schild hat. Netter Empfang von Monica und ihren zwei kleinen Kindern. Ich hatte ein einfaches drei Bett Zimmer ohne Mosquitonetz. Könnte mir nicht vorstellen zu zweit/dritt dort zu sein, viel zu eng/klein. Ich bekam einen Kübel um meine Wäsche zu waschen und konnte sie draussen aufhängen. Super köstliches, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Gutes Abendessen. Im nahen Gorilla Sip Garten Restaurant gibt's guten Kaffee und Kuchen."

Nach dem Duschen ist das kleine Bad/WC nass. Unbedingt Aufhängehacken und Regal anbringen. Keine Mosquitonetze. Man kriegt keinen Schlüssel für das Tor, muss lange klopfen bis jemand öffnet.

"Das Ehepaar, welches auch die sehr gepflegte Mekong Eco Lodge in 200m Entfernung betreibt ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns haben sie den Privattransport in den Cat Tien NP organisiert. Auch das Frühstück und Abendbuffet in der Mekong Lodge war sehr fein."

Der Fokus scheint auf der Mekong Lodge zu liegen und die Umgebung ist viel weniger gepflegt.

"Das Quartier war schön ruhig. Der Sitzplatz vor dem Haus mit der Morgensonne war mein persönliches Highlight. Die Betten waren bequem."

Die Wohnung hat kaum Aussicht. Aber das hat uns nicht gestört für 1 Nacht.

"Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Sie haben mir bei meine Weitere Transit-Reise geholfen. Nach dem Wunsch haben Restaurant-Bestellung im Unterkunft gebracht. Ein Ausflug zum Strand in der Nacht organisiert, damit kann man das leuchtende Meer beobachten. Sie gehen auf Wünsche von Touristen zu. Sehr leckere Frühstück. Diese Unterkunft ich allen empfehlen!"

"The view was absolutely stunning, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made everything so convenient. We also loved the swing and theres free horse riding experience provided. it was such a unique and enjoyable touch."

The only minor downsides were that the jacuzzi water wasn’t hot during our stay, and there were quite a number of bugs at night, so it was a bit difficult to sit outside for long. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our time there.

"If you are more a visitor then a tourist, if you like exploring and going further when comfortable tourism ends, this place is for you. The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. The PNGFE made my stay very comfortable and made me experience local life and the raw nature of PNG!!"

Останавливался на две по полночи, получилось идеально: прилетел/помылся/поспал/посмотрел город/помылся/поспал/улетел."
