Wenig Steckdosen im Zimmer. Betten stehen teilweise als Doppelbett nebeneinander.

"Wir waren zweimal je für eine Nacht in the Barn auf unserer Island Reise, das erste Mal im Dorm und das zweite Mal wurden wir von einer Mitarbeiterin auf ein Doppelzimmer geupgraded, nachdem wir wegen einer Straßensperrung erst spät nachts ankamen - das war sehr zuvorkommend! Die Küche ist groß und alles vorhanden, was man so braucht, und auch sauber für ein Hostel. In der Lobby gibt es mit Früchten infused Wasser, hat uns auch gefallen. Auch gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden, generell ist alles cool eingerichtet."

Was unpraktisch war, waren die sehr kleinen Waschbecken, an denen man sich gar nicht richtig waschen konnte, und außerdem fehlten Ablageflächen für Handtuch/Waschbeutel deutlich. Was mir leider sehr negativ aufgefallen ist, sind die nicht sehr sauberen Toiletten. Ich denke schon, dass sie ausreichend gereinigt werden, daran liegt es nicht. Ich denke die Situation würde sich verbessern, wenn es für die Geschlechter getrennte Toiletten gäbe, beziehungsweise Urinale für die Männer. Die benutzen die Toiletten nämlich so, dass sich danach keiner mehr draufsetzen kann. Ich habe teilweise keine einzige saubere Toilette finden können, was ich echt unangenehm fand. Dafür kann die Unterkunft zwar nichts, aber man sollte eine Lösung finden...

"Kelly and his family are amazing hosts. We feel in family! :-) Kelly is so helpful and talkative, always able to give suggestions and help finding activities to do, contacts, etc. His son, Junior, went with us to many places and activities and we fell him like a younger brother! :-) All the family made us feel welcome and at "home far from home". Installations are simple, but in a nice location, in the countryside, quite and friendly place, not far from Goroka center/easy bus connections but we have everything we needed, even to cook our meals. If you want a simple and family place to stay, with someone who will help you around, this is the place! If once I go back PNG and Goroka, I'll stay here again! :-) Thanks Kelly, Junior and family! Hope to see you again!"

It's normal to have light and water cuts. But it's common in the region/general problem and not from the place.

"Super Lage zwischen Strand und Stadt. Personal sehr zugänglich, freundlich und hilfsbereit beim organisieren der Weiterreise. Unterkunft sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Angenehme Vibes zum Chillen und Entspannen. Essen sehr lecker. Keine klassische Dusche, sondern mit Schöpfkelle. Wusste ich vorher und für mich passt es. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis."

Sehr rustikal, viele Moskitos im Zimmer, die ziemlich genervt haben, kein Ventilator, aber zum Schlafen gab es aber ein Moskitonetznetz! leider hat es immer wieder geregnet und da das Badezimmer draussen war, musste ich durch den Regen, am WC hat es auch geregnet, Kakalaken in der Dusche und dem WC

"Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht hier, wären gerne eine ganze Woche geblieben. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, vor allem der Außenbereich mit großem Garten und vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Gastgeber waren unheimlich nett und haben uns sehr aufmerksam umsorgt. Wir wollen wiederkommen."

Küche kann man nicht nutzen. Aber da ich es vorher schon gewusst habe, war das o.k.

- would have been great if there were a kettle for guests' use. Needed some hot water to soothe my stomach and had to ask the staff to boil a cup for me.

"A Pleasant Surprise at Palm Garden! We booked Palm Garden without checking any reviews—only afterward did we take a look and feel a bit unsure. My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. "4 Personen Zimmer, sehr sauber. Großzügige, saubere Waschräume. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet (nicht im Preis enthalten). Ruhige Lage, quasi im Zentrum. Altstadt nicht weit. Zum Strand ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß. In der Longe kann man gut chillen. Auch Außenbeleuchtung sehr nett. Komplett. Küche zur Benutzung."

"Location, price, staff. The location is perfect - it is city center and moreover, located in old city of Baku. Easy access to the museums and downtown. Staff is helpful, can advice in any matter. Metro station is very close."

"I had a truly wonderful stay here. The front desk staff was incredibly nice, patient, and easy to talk to, he made the whole experience even better. The hotel has everything you would need, including a hair dryer. The bathroom and shower were especially great, very clean and comfortable. I was also really touched by the sign at the entrance of the bathroom clearly stating “Female Toilet, males not allowed.” It shows real respect for women and made me feel very safe. Little details like this genuinely warm your heart. I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has such a low rating on Booking. If the full score is 10, I would definitely give it a 10. Thank you again, I truly loved my stay here."
