You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

Eine kleine Verbesserung wäre es, wenn es etwas mehr Abstellfläche oder die Möglichkeit gebe eine Jacke aufzuhängen. .

"Tolle Preis-/Leistung und super fußläufige Lage zum Nationalpark. Das Auto haben wir gar nicht benutzt und konnten es auf dem abgeschlossenen Gelände stehen lassen. Zimmer ist zwar ziemlich klein aber war kein Problem. Moskitonetze am Fenster zum Glück vorhanden. Den Pool haben wir auch abends gerne genutzt."

Sehr rustikal, viele Moskitos im Zimmer, die ziemlich genervt haben, kein Ventilator, aber zum Schlafen gab es aber ein Moskitonetznetz! leider hat es immer wieder geregnet und da das Badezimmer draussen war, musste ich durch den Regen, am WC hat es auch geregnet, Kakalaken in der Dusche und dem WC

"J' ai aimé le personnel sympathique, la possibilité de pouvoir manger sur place, la proximité des randonnées, notamment le piton des neiges, possibilité de laver mes vêtements, la taille des lieux, la vue sur les montagnes autour. Possibilité feu de cheminée. Bar, cafétéria restaurant il me semble en bas sur le point de réouvrir. C'est pas cher, et convivial."

Ils sont en train de rénover les lieux, il y avait des imperfections, mais elles auront disparu très bientôt.

Die Zimmer sind nicht Schallisoliert und zum Flur hin gibt es keine Moskitonetze.

"A Pleasant Surprise at Palm Garden! We booked Palm Garden without checking any reviews—only afterward did we take a look and feel a bit unsure. My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. It was clear that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard."

Es ist leider sehr hellhörig, man kann dennoch gut schlafen.

"Hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Man merkt, dass viel Leidenschaft im Hostel drin steckt. Sehr sauber und komfortabel. Auch das Café mon direkt untenan mit den Sitzplätzen im Innenhof ist für das Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen."

Das Hostel ist leider nicht so sozial, aber gut für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt.

Die Betten waren okay aber nach 9 Nächten waren wieder froh im eigenen Bett schlafen zu können

"Wir waren zweimal je für eine Nacht in the Barn auf unserer Island Reise, das erste Mal im Dorm und das zweite Mal wurden wir von einer Mitarbeiterin auf ein Doppelzimmer geupgraded, nachdem wir wegen einer Straßensperrung erst spät nachts ankamen - das war sehr zuvorkommend! Die Küche ist groß und alles vorhanden, was man so braucht, und auch sauber für ein Hostel. In der Lobby gibt es mit Früchten infused Wasser, hat uns auch gefallen. Auch gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden, generell ist alles cool eingerichtet."

Was unpraktisch war, waren die sehr kleinen Waschbecken, an denen man sich gar nicht richtig waschen konnte, und außerdem fehlten Ablageflächen für Handtuch/Waschbeutel deutlich. Was mir leider sehr negativ aufgefallen ist, sind die nicht sehr sauberen Toiletten. Ich denke schon, dass sie ausreichend gereinigt werden, daran liegt es nicht. Ich denke die Situation würde sich verbessern, wenn es für die Geschlechter getrennte Toiletten gäbe, beziehungsweise Urinale für die Männer. Die benutzen die Toiletten nämlich so, dass sich danach keiner mehr draufsetzen kann. Ich habe teilweise keine einzige saubere Toilette finden können, was ich echt unangenehm fand. Dafür kann die Unterkunft zwar nichts, aber man sollte eine Lösung finden...
