"Das Anwesen ist 2024 von einem Investor erbaut. Der Zustand ist entsprechend gut. Zimmer mit Meerblick beeindruckend. Ausstattung mit japanischer Toilette, Regendusche, elektrischen Vorhängen, deutsches Fernsehprogramm ziemlich gut. Frühstück wechselnt sehr gut, auch Service. Pool mit Terrasse. Top Roof Bar mit Billard Tisch. Speisemöglichkeit im Hotel selbst bzw. im nahe gelegenen chin. Restaurant (kantonesich). Parkplatz unten vor der Anhöhe des Anwesens, Transport erfolgt mit Shuttle (wenige Minuten)."

Die Lage bzw. Umgebung des Hotels, die man aber logischerweise nicht ändern kann. Es gibt keinen Strand, allerdings die Möglichkeit, an einem kurzen Stück ins Meer zu kommen.

"The family room was small, but had everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the drink prices were reasonable. The best choice in the area. Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

"Das Personal war freundlich. Wir haben einen Stopp vor Einbruch der Dunkelheit gemacht. Rundrum gibt es genug Möglichkeiten zu essen. Grundsätzlich würden wir beim nächsten Mal lieber ein paar Kilometer weiter fahren und in Midelt halten. Midelt ist eine schöne kleine Stadt und kein Vergleich zur diesem Standort. Das Frühstück war okay. 👍"

Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach, das Bad auch.

"Perfekte Lage in der Innenstadt von Ystad, nicht weit weg vom Bahnhof und Sehenswürdigkeiten; sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!"

"Die Lage ist absolut gigantisch. Es gibt auf Karivo die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge, die wir je gesehen haben. Das Personal, insbesondere Wiebke, hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert, herzlichen Dank dafür."

"I's a nice, relaxing place in a beautiful natural setting. A bit above Nioumachoua and with a very nice view over the hills and coast from the room balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful and they can inform you about possible activities as well. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean, there was an (intact) mosquito net and air con. The breakfast was included and you can order dinner as well, which was delicious."

The door handles tend to fall out and should be repaired. Some ants in the room. Some waiting time for breakfast.

"Suite was spacious, all amenities were in place, as expected. Also, there is a restaurant on the ground floor. Plus a cool hair dryer, thanks."

Distance between bed and the walls was tiny, you have to do some physical exercise to get in. Also, the toilet felt a bit fragile :)

Lot of stairs to bring down the luggage and carry it back. The train track adjoining the hotel is very annoying and extremely noisy when the train passes through.

Breakfast is little bit boring after 4 days

"Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Fahrräder können sicher untergebracht werden. In kurzer Entfernung gibt es einen großen Supermarkt mit Café. Das Internet hat hervorragend funktioniert. Die Einrichtung im Zimmer war sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!"

"We loved the private more exclusive feel of this smaller luxury property. It was a bonus that it was away from the busy 7-mile area."

Taxi costs are high in Cayman so best to rent a car if in this location.

Dass Schüler in ihrem Landschulaufenthalt (ca 80) in dem Hotel Narrenfreiheit hatten und die Lehrer lieber in der Bar gegenüber saßen. Dass es auch anderst geht sah man an der nächsten Gruppe die angereist war. Das schlimme war dass auch niemeand aus dem Hotel den Jugendlichen einhalt geboten hat.

"Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal dort. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und das Personal sehr freundlich. Also kurz gesagt, wir kommen sicher wieder. Es war alles perfekt."

The room have unpleasant smell from the toilet initially. But overall room was clean and seems to be maintained well.

"The pool was necessary but a little dirty. The ac is effective and the hot water is too. You cant ask to much of hospitality businesses in this part of west africa but this place exceeded them. This place is great for overlanders"

Its definitely more of a "hang out" hotel for locals to come swim or watch football. It will probably be a little rowdy on some weekends. The staff seemed a little confused how to handle overnight guests.

"Island Hopper was recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. The staff made us feel at 'home' right from the airport pick up. The beds are more comfortable than ours at home. The restaurant is also excellent! Hope to be back one day."

"Central, quiet location, next to supermarket (great option in expensive Djibouti), stable WiFi, aircon in room (important in hot Djibouti), decent breakfast. After check out I was allowed to keep my luggage stored there and to use the kitchen facilities until my evening flight"

"Wir waren in einem Standart Zimmer. Geräumiges Zimmer mit sehr bequemem Betten. Es war sehr sauber und die Klima hat gut funktioniert. Coole und sauberer Pool und man konnte direkt an den Strand. Restaurant war auch lecker. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten innert 5-10 Autominuten"

Nicht viele Restaurants. Die Hotelanlage könnte hier und da eine kleine Auffrischung benötigen.
