"The compound is very cosy with lots of fireplaces and areas to play and chill. Although there where a lot of guests the last night we barely noticed them. The outdoor kitchen is very pleasant to use and the showers and toilets where comfortable. We are fond of the place, very easy going, close to nature and basic with a comfort-plus."

"We felt lucky we brought our own chairs. The chairs available where great to use for sitting at the table and for eating but not for chilling at the fire pit. The beds where hard. I didn't mind but I can imagine some people don't like a hard matras."

"I would not call them problems I guess it's all about that we arrived at the end of the season. -We arrived , noone was there , we had to call a number 30 minutes later the host came and did the check in . - English communication between the host and us was not the required level , the forms were in Hungarian ( not a very big deal ) - Might be nothing but the bus has a low frequency/long wait program ( keep in mind that if you are traveling with a bus on weekend and Sundays)"

"Our return to Vár Camping marked our second venture into this enchanting place. It might not be a five-star resort, but it sure gets the job done, and the staff's friendliness is off the charts. Oh, and that hillside restaurant? It's a hidden gem, and I'd wholeheartedly suggest indulging in a meal there."

"We shelled out for breakfast two days in a row. On day one, we fancied some sausage, and it was top-notch quality. But on day two, we thought lightning would strike twice, and we got served the budget sausage that tasted so awful, we had to slather it in mustard just to stomach it.
