"Leider war das Haus zu dieser Jahreszeit sehr kalt. Das Personal war aber sehr bemüht, mit Heizstrahlern für Wohlbefinden zu sorgen. Die Betten waren mit großen Heizdecken ausgestattet. Die Lage ist weit entfernt von der Innenstadt, manche Taxifahrer kannten den Weg nicht. Bei gutem Wetter aber herrliche Aussicht!!!"

"Die Lage und Aussicht sind einmalig! Die Einrichtung wirkt sehr authentisch im englischen Landhausstil, die Zimmer sind großzügig bemessen, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Große Auswahl sowohl zum Dinner als auch zum Frühstück. Sehr zuvorkommendes und aufmerksames Personal, uns wurden während niedriger Aussentemperaturen sowohl Heizdecken als auch ein elektrischer Heizer ins Zimmer gestellt."

"Die Anfahrt (wir hatten einen Mietwagen als Selbstfahrer) ist durch die hohe Lage des Hotels mit vielen, sehr engen und desolaten Straßen und Kehren sehr schwierig. Zudem gibt es nur wenige Parkplätze im Innenhof, so das dauernd Wagen umgeparkt werden müssen."

"We loved the Cedar Inn for many different reasons. It is situated in a beautiful old building in a wonderful peaceful situation above the hustle and bustle of Darjeeling. Despite this it is still just a convenient 25 minute walk from the main area. The hotel manages to maintain its old world charm while providing all the comforts and conveniences that a modern visitor could want. The restaurant is excellent and offers a delicious selection of Indian and Bengali cuisine. But above all it is the helpful and welcoming staff from senior management all the way down that make the Cedar Inn such a delightful place to stay."
