"Great experience to go on a houseboat on the backwaters of kerala. Air conditioning limited to nights in rooms food was alright staff were friendly"

"This was a shared boat. Room, bathroom and boat common areas were clean. Rooms looked newly renovated. Our room was just as it was in the pictures. It had its own AC. Food was ok, but too spicy for my taste. Chef gave me lassi to cool down my stomach. They provided bottled water for all guests morning and night. Itinerary was as described. Staff was courteous. We politely declined buying the fish at the local market and nobody pressured us into buying it. Chairs in the top deck eating area are slightly low lying, so we had to go out into the deck to have a full view of the backwards."

"Language barrier was big. Communication before boarding time could be improved. Boat was not there when we arrived. We found this out when an unknown lady who did not speak English, ushered us into a back room to wait there. The room was away from the pickup point. It started looking like a scam because the boat was not there and when asked, the host kept saying to us via text to go to the pick up location. Our cab driver was communicating with them. It would've been less unsettling and chaotic if the host let us know through text that the boat was not ready, however , he arranged for a woman to take us to a waiting area."

"I thought they will stay somewhere else at night but they stayed just 100 mts away from where we started and in the morning just anchored the boat after 15_20 mts of boating in backwater."

"Relaxing and fun sailing. Delicious food. If you want, at one of the stops the boat makes, you can buy fresh fish and the boat's cook will prepare it for you for dinner. Spacious and clean rooms."

"The houseboat was very clean with comfortable seating arrangements and lovely ensuite rooms. The cruise was great. We opted to take an additional tour on a smaller boat down some of the narrower backwaters and we bought some prawns and crabs at a local fish market which the cook prepared for dinner. All meals were provided (paid extra for seafood). Everything was delicious."
