The reception was almost never occupied, and the person on the indicated phone number did not speak English. So checking in and paying was a bit tricky. Internet is a bit slow for working, but OK. Also, mind that you may need to bring your own shampoo, soap, and hair dryer.

"Sehr sauberes, wunderschönes Zimmer, mit privater Dachterasse. Die Aussicht und die Ruhe sind unbezahlbar. Das Frühstück vom besten, was wir in Italien erlebt haben. Leider war das viel gerühmte Restaurant am Sonntag geschlossen🙁"

Wie so oft in Italien waren Matratze und Kissen steinhart.

"It's a lovely and very cozy place wirh very good food from Maria, the Chef. Karin, the owner, ist always there to help you. Especially in posh resort Vichayito it's a place that makes you feel welcome and is down-to-earth. There is a different delicious Menu del Dia every day."

"Grandioses kleines Hotel direkt neben Bootham Bar, keine 100m von der Kathedrale entfernt, mitten in der Altstadt von York. Ich hatte ein Zimmer in der obersten Etage und dadurch sogar Aussicht über die Stadt, akustisch untermalt vom Stimmengewirr auf der Straße und den Glocken von York Minster. Superfreundliches Personal, ein schönes Zimmer und ein Frühstück a la Carte mit Platzservice, sowie ein uriger Pub im Haus. Liebes Hotel, bitte alles genau so lassen! Nichts ändern! Es ist perfekt so. Ihr werdet immer genug Gäste haben, die sich bei euch wohlfühlen werden. Mich eingeschlossen, denn ich komme gerne wieder."

"Die Nähe zum Flughafen und gleichzeitig ist man schon in der wunderschönen Natur von Dominica angekommen. Das Abendessen von Nigel ist fantastisch - unbedingt vorbestellen! Und das Frühstück gehört zu den Beste... alles bei moderaten Preisen!"

"It was very uncomplicated to get the keys. Plenty of parking nearby. The bathroom was spacious, the location was clean. The building has old roots and the main building was a makeshift hospital during the Battle of Waterloo, which added to the charm."

Einiges ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und manches müsste mal erneuert werden.

"Einfache, aber sehr saubere Unterkunft. Sehr geräumiges Apartement mit Balkon. Super bequeme Matratzen! Beide Schlafzimmer mit eigenem, wenn auch sehr kleinem Bad. Unschlagbare Gastfreundschaft des gesamten Personals und des Inhabers; ebenso Hilfsbereitschaft. Essen sehr schmackhaft; Wünsche möglich. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für eine Erkundung der gesamten Insel, wenn man über einen Mietwagen verfügt. Kombination des Aufenthalts mit Domus Praia Jale im Süden direkt an einem Traumstrand sehr zu empfehlen."

Wirklich nichts. Alles war wie erwartet oder besser.

Die Beschilderung war für mich unzureichend.

"The service and food were fine. Room was spacious and clean. Beautiful and peaceful location. The kitchen catered for our specific preferences as my husband and son do not eat meat and chicken and my daughter doesn't eat octopus."

No shampoo available and i wasnt aware of same before booking else would have brought mine. Towels stayed wet and had to use same both for shower and pool. Amenities should be provided to allow for wet clothes and towels to dry, like a drying line in the bathroom.
