"Ein wahrliches Kleinod! Valhöll liegt traumhaft über dem Fjord gelegen, Sonnenaufgang inklusive. Liebevoll eingerichtet mit kleinem Ofen zum einheizen und Sauna vor der Tür. Für Mutige gibt es einen kleinen Wasserfall zur Abkühlung. Wären gerne viel länger geblieben. Die beste Unterkunft unsrer Island-Reise!"

"Die Lage und Einrichtung lässt sich mit Worten nicht beschreiben. Beides auf unserer 3 wöchigen Reise unerreicht. Es handelt sich um eine ehemalige Hütte der isländischen Pfadfinder welche liebevoll restauriert wurde. Mit Sauna. Die Bilder können nicht ansatzweise wiedergeben wie traumhaft es dort ist. Unbedingt buchen wenn man dort vor Ort ist."

"Nicht gefallen ist nicht ganz richtig aber zu beachten: Das Gepäck muss ca. 500m zum Haus getragen werden und das mit einem kleinen Höhenunterschied."

"The cabin is really cosy and clean. It has all the stuff you might need to stay for a couple of days with friends. We were a group of 5 adults and we felt very comfortable and taken care of. Location is amazing, views are breathtaking! Definitely a place you want to go back to! :)"

"The location is very serene and quiet. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Supermarket is very nearby, just as the town of Isafjordur."

"Beds are comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too soft for our taste. We tried to fire up the sauna, but as you literally have to fire up the heating this might be challenging. In the end, we didn't manage to get the sauna all up and running without feeling like a smoked fish ourselves."

"The scenery is particularly beautiful. The cabin is in the middle of the canyon. It is the most beautiful house I have ever lived in."

"I will suggest, Owner should make a big sign of the house name with a clear Arrow pointing to the direction of the house, so when we drive out from the tunnel we can easily spot it. Owner should have mention to us a bit more in details something like the location is close by the tunnel exit, not more than 20 seconds away from the tunnel exit. Also it will be hard if you travel heavy, because your car can not park right in front of your house, we have to pass a narrow wooden bridge and then walk about 5 mins unpaved road to reach the house entrance"

"Amazing location. Beautiful cottage not far from Ísafjörður and there is a private sauna outside. I made a surprise to my friends for our trip and we were so happy to be there. I 100% recommand this place"
