"Das kleine Ferienhaus ist an einem leichten Hang mit Blick in den Fjord (und ein paar Bäume) gelegen. Die letzten Meter der Anfahrt waren geschottert (2025), was aber für unseren ganz normalen PKW kein Problem darstellte. Die Unterkunft ist hervorragend ausgestattet und sauber. Unser Highlight war die Vermieterin, die uns noch vor Ort einige der selbst entworfenen Utensilien verkaufte (eine Puffin Wolldecke, bzw. eine Puffin Trinkflasche). Überhaupt war die Kommunikation mit ihr völlig problemlos und angenehm."

"Wunderschönes gemütliches Häuschen mit unbeschreiblich schönem Ausblick! Toll ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet mit einigen von der Vermieterin selbst designten Gegenständen. Ich kann es empfehlen auch ihren kleinen Laden in Akureyri zu besuchen. Sehr freundlich. 😊"

"It was the best place we stayed in during our first week in Iceland. We had a lot of space to live in. It was located very close to the Forest Lagoon and a few minutes away from Akureyri. We enjoyed having a place alone and very quiet."

"I can only recommend this summer house for the holidaying in the area. It has everything you need and super comfortable for a couple. The kitchen is well-equipped, it's warm in the house, mattresses are super comfy, shower with hot water and few extras like a washing machine made our staying there really pleasant. Flawless communication with the host was also a great bonus! The views from the house are fantastic and very relaxing."

"Very well-located about 10 minutes from Akureyri centre, on the opposite side of the fjord, so it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, with a great view into the valley and to the mountains. Very well appointed - including a washing machine. The apartment was big enough for a stay of a 4 days, for two people, very comfortable beds, very clean, and a nice living space. For walks, a gravel road into the mountain starts about 500m from the house. Seamless check-in, and quick responses from the host on questions. For driving, the road around the mountain (not route 1 through the tunnel) is much more scenic. The waterfall Aldeyjarfoss (40km into the valley from Godafoss) is absolutely superb, with no people around. The Akureyri botanical garden was a very beautiful surprise."
