"As we arrived, late in the evening after a very bumpy 45 min drive from Luang Namtha, it was a bit weird. We were the only guests there and the everything felt so desolate. But we still got a good meal in the outdoor restaurant (chilly in the evening) and we enjoyed the silence in the morning. Instead of fleeing off to town we decided to go with the flow and booked at breakfast a one day hike. And that turned out so good! We had two guides, a delicious lunch in the jungle, visited a local village. A perfect stay for us."

"As the nights get cold in January, a little heater in the bathroom would be very welcome. But we haven’t got one of these elsewhere neither 🫣"

"Remote location surrounded by nature, so tranquil. Fish can be caught fresh by guests and then the staff will prepare them for dinner! The rooms are so beautiful, attention to detail like nothing else you will find in Luang Namtha. Would love to spend more time here."

"I spent two nights at Phu Phet Phu Kham in Luang Namtha and loved every moment. The bungalows are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, surrounded by lush forest. A small waterfall provides a perfect swimming spot with a beautiful natural backdrop, and the large fruit garden and fishponds add to the peaceful setting. Nearby you can explore Ko Rao Cave, join treks in the Nam Ha NPA, or take a fascinating coffee study tour to learn about sustainable coffee production in a local village. The on-site restaurant is charmingly set along a small river with views of the forest and waterfall—an ideal spot for dinner, relaxing with a book, or enjoying a refreshing dip."
