"Nice, familly run place. Rooms very nice, clean and felt like mountain cottage - something very different to the rest if Sri Lanka :). Stuff was very helpfull and nice. Dinner was home made and very good. We opted for take away breakfast to go to the Horton Plains NP early in the morning and it was very good as well. Simply a nice place to explore the mountains from."

"The location is nice, located in walking distance from the colonial English hotels and the town, yet still in a bit more of a quiet area which is peaceful at night. The staff is very helpful, making sure you have everything you need and do not hesitate to help you with any questions. I had a great night sleep here in the very comfortable bed, and a warm and nice shower in the morning. The breakfast is simple but nice with an egg, toast, butter, jam and a banana. I picked coffee but should of course have picked tea as you’re in that region and they do not make coffee very strong."
"My 4G eSIM was way faster internet than their wifi, but that was no problem for me. I would also recommend a mosquito net as they can keep you up at night, not many mosquitos though and earplugs solve that problem."
"The owner was so helpful and communicative, and the location is perfect because it’s within walking distance of some beautiful sightseeing areas such as Lake Gregory and Pedro Tea Estate as well as the town centre. The bed was the most comfortable that I slept in during my whole trip in Sri Lanka! Would have happily stayed longer :)"

"Bardzo udany pobyt, uprzejmy i bardzo pomocny personel, zorganizowali nam transport na stację w Ambeweli i zakup biletów kolejowych. Pokoje duże, spokojnie było miejsce na rozłożenie walizek i ubrań. Wielkie łóżka. Czysto, łazienki po remoncie, więc wcześniejsze opinie i komentarze gości u nas nie sprawdziły się. Dobre śniadanie. Stosunek jakości do ceny super."

"Wenn man die Natur liebt, so wie wir, dann ist das der perfekte Platz. Man muss sich allerdings auf eine kalte Dusche und kein WLAN einstellen. Der Besitzer war super freundlich und das Essen sehr gut! Die beiden Hunde haben sehr gut auf uns aufgepasst. Hansl der Sohn des Betreibers machte mit uns einen schönen Abendspaziergang,wo er uns einige Heilpflanzen erklärte. Wir sahen auch sehr viele schöne Vögel und eine Landschildkröte. Auch war er ein toller Guide bei der Safari die wir gebucht hatten. Alkes in allem perfekt. Wir waren 3 Tage dort und hätten es auch noch einen Tag länger ausgehalten."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."
"Es ist schon außergewöhnlich, mitten im Nirgendwo in einem Zelt zu schlafen. Das Zelt war sehr komfortabel und es fehlte an nichts. Das Abendessen am Lagerfeuer war lecker, es gab drei Gänge und es wurde für uns gegrillt. Am besten die Safari gefallen, der Guide hat uns sehr viele Tiere gezeigt und versucht den Massen aus dem Weg zu gehen bzw. zu fahren. Er konnte uns auch recht Tiere erzählen. Zurück am Zeltplatz gab es dann ein gutes Frühstück. Wir wurden auch an einen Treffpunkt abgeholt und wieder hingefahren, auch wurde unsere Weiterfahrt organisiert. Es wurde sich also bestens um uns gekümmert!"

"Sehr schön detailliert eingerichtet. Macht gute Laune. Sehr schöne große Dusche. Ordentlicher Pool. Der Innenbereich ist gestaltet wie ein großes Wohnzimmer, es stehen Tische bereit. Man kann in der sehr sauberen Küche auch Lebensmittel im Kühlschrank unterbringen. Wir wurden in allen Maßen verwöhnt. Der Service war außergewöhnlich gut! Wir werden sicher wieder kommen, wenn wir wieder nach Sri Lanka reisen."
