"Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

"Das Haus ist am See gelegen, mit eigenem Steg. Vorhandene Boote darf man mitbenutzen und Angeln ist auch inklusive. Das Seeufer ist rundherum bewaldet. Die Terrasse ist mit bequemen Möbeln ausgestattet. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Und kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Kerzen und frische Blumen sind einfach toll. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Über die Terrasse gelangt man zur Sauna mit herrlichen Seeblick. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich!!!😃"

"Wir haben 3 Nächte in einem der Bungalows verbracht und es war wirklich wunderschön! Die Bungalows sind direkt am Fluss gelegen und haben eine wunderschöne Terrasse davor. Es ist alles sauber und auch das Internet funktioniert super .Der Besitzer ist trotzdessen, dass er sehr beschäftigt suoer freundlich, immer gut erreichbar und hat uns wirklich super unterstützt!! Er hat für uns trotz des Tet Fest Stress einen Bus zur Weiterfahrt organisiert, wir haben auch Touren bei ihm gebucht, die wirklich super geklappt haben :). Da wir am letzten Tag sehr früh abgereist sind, haben wir unser Frühstück sogar zum mitnehmen bekommen! Vielen Dank für alles!"

Das Essen dort ist zwar sehr reichhaltig aber ich war von dem Geschmacklichen nicht besonders überzeugt...

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

""Desert's Soul" ist ein kleines, aber feines Camp, umgeben von atemberaubenden Felsen. Es ist mit dem privaten Fahrzeug zu erreichen, dennoch sehr ruhig gelegen. Mohamed ist ein wahnsinnig freundlicher, lustiger und warmherziger Inhaber und hat uns einen einzigartigen Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde Wadi Rum beschert. Er hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen und eine unglaubliche Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre geschaffen - von der Jeep-Tour, über interessante und lustige Gespräche, bis hin zum gemeinsamen UNO-Spielen. Das Camp ist vergleichsweise einfach, aber umso authentischer, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir würden an diesen magischen Ort jederzeit wieder kommen."

"Location is perfect- 300m from the tarred A4 main road. 15 min drive to the Sehlabathebe Nature Reserve. Nestled between the Maloti/Ukhahlamba and Tsoelikana River. An absolute beauty"

The food. They are unprepared for people who do not eat meat. The love of salt by Basotho is above average

Arrived at 11.30am to some "surprises" from the night before & no beer in the restaurant - someone had a great night! Good for them! Cleaning was dealt with quickly & beer was eventually delivered. A one-off, I'm sure..

"total hübsches Apartment mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Perfekt sauber und es fehlte an nichts. mit viel liebe gemacht. ein toller Balkon und ein kleiner Pool runden das kleine Paradies ab. Sabine war sehr nett und aufmerksam sie organisierte und gab tips. Zum Geburtstag gabs ne gute Flasche Wein vom Haus Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön und wir haben gleich ein paar Tage verlängert vielen Dank an dich und dein Team lg Steff und Angi"

"Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Wir waren mit dem Motorrad da. Parkplatz direkt vor der Unterkunft. Die Lage für Ausflüge, vorallem den auf Mykines, genial. Zur Türe raus, wenige Meter laufen und schon war man bei der Fähre. Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit."

"Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft von Ingrid und Thomas sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Grundstück ist sehr naturbelassen mit vielen verschiedenen tropischen Pflanzen. Der weite und erhabene Blick von der Terasse in die Natur bis zum Meer ist atemberaubend. Von unserer Terasse konnte man den Sonnenaufgang sehen. Das Zimmer war minimalistisch aber praktisch eingerichtet. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Ingrid ist im übrigen eine sehr gute Köchin. Ihr Händchen für den Einsatz von verschiedenen und für uns zum Teil unbekannten Gewürzen war sehr köstlich. Man sollte auf jeden Fall das Frühstücksangebot von Ingrid nutzen. Wir hatten einmal einen Defekt unserer Dusche, was von Thomas umgehend repariert wurde. Am letzten Abend hatten wir die Mögoichkeit mit Ingrid und ihrer Tochter in der örtlichen Kirche an einem Gottesdienst teilzunehmen. Dies war ein unvergessliches Ereignis für uns. Wir können diese Unterkunft und Lebensprojekt von Ingrid und Thomas in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen."

"This place is simply amazing, what stands out is the attention to detail and the magical garden with pool. Highly recommend it for you nature lovers. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. There is plenty of parking space, a bakery and exquisite french restaurant just around the corner. Pro tip: watch your step when going to the pool, turtles are sometimes patroling the area."

"Marcella war sehr hilfreich - beid er Buchung der Touren und anderen Fragen. Der Garten war ein Traum! Das Frühstück wurde täglich frisch zubereitet. Früchte aus ihren eigenen Garten und d belizianische Speisen. Am ersten Tag hatten wir Quesedillas, am 2. Fried Jack und am 3.Breakfast Burrittos. Es war sehr, sehr lecker! Die Baumhäuser und anderen Hütten sind liebevoll aus guten Holz gebaut."

Man weiß worauf man sich einlässt, allerdings ist das Baumhaus etwas eng.

"Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal sehr zuverlässig. Sehr gute Lage in der Nähe der Wasser Metro und des Marktes. Morgens gibt es Tee oder Kaffee. Tipps für meine weiterreise die gut geklappt haben. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.."
