Highlands Lodge

"Einfache aber gut ausgestattete und saubere Lodge in den Highlands von Lesotho. Wir waren zu viert auf der Durchreise und waren in zwei komfortablen Zimmern untergebracht. Bad mit Dusche bzw. Badewanne im Zimmer, Klimaanlage, Heizdecke - es kann kalt werden in den Bergen- Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Frühstück und Abendessen gab es in der Lodge serviert als Tellergericht. Zum Frühstück noch Obst und Cerialien zur Selbstbedienung. Beides sehr lecker und ausreichend. Vegetarisch war auf Anfrage kein Problem. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hat uns alle Wünsche direkt erfüllt. Ein kleiner Kiosk ums Eck hat eine kleine aber feine Auswahl an Getränken und regionalem Bier und lädt zum Plausch mit den Leuten vor Ort. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen."

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

"We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important."

"Frankly, the breakfast wasn't pretty much of what i expected. With breakfast i expected quite a variety, as someone who watches her health, weight and otherwise. For instance, we only had All bran corn flakes and Eet Bix, with full cream milk only, one also expect plain yoghurt maybe, fruit cocktail...Otherwise the main breakfast meal was fantastic."

"The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They looked after our needs and did their best to make us as comfortable as possible. The room was perfect, the access to international TV was a surprise bonus. Although it got very cold in the night due to the high elevation, we were kept warm with the heater and electric blankets, actually a bit too warm. Highly recommend this lodge."

"The only negative, that kept me from giving Highland Lodge a perfect score of 10, was that the wifi didnt work so well. However there was decent mobile signal for access to 4G which made up for it."

"The location was perfect for me, as it was close to my work area. The pricing was on point, and the breakfast was just perfectly done. The staff was incredibly friendly—kudos to Chef Tlali and Ms. Masetlaba for their exceptional service."

"While my stay was enjoyable, improving the lighting and heating in the rooms would make winter nights more comfortable. Additionally, enhancing the fencing would add a greater sense of security."

"The service was excellent. We booked quite late in the day, so It did not look like they were expecting us, but the gentleman made sure everything was in order for us. He even let us get settled while he was busy sorting out the confirmations etc. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It was quite cold, so he brought a heater for us to use. Location is good, it is directly off the A1, so it makes for a good stopover. All in all, it was a good stay and good value."

"Very noisy...not sure if it's the area but there was sawing and drilling noises til about 9pm and then again before 6am. Not a quiet mountain experience."
