"Das Green Elephant ist ein fantastischer Ort mit herzlichem Service und tollen Zimmern. Die Lage ist ruhig, perfekt für eine Auszeit und erste Akklimatisierung. Das Personal ist äußerst gastfreundlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, schön eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Absolut empfehlenswert für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt."

"Absolutely fantastic place. Large clean room with a small garden seating area. Food very good. If you are a bird lover just sit and wait, I was blown away by the different birds flying in and out. Large bed with mosquito nets."

"For whatever reason we had no water supply in the evening and throughout the night but once I reported it was fixed relatively quickly. Also, this comment really has nothing to do with this hotel, just a small warning to anyone intending to use cash dollars in Malawi - bring new notes (they don't accept anything printed before 2009). Otherwise, everything fantastic."

"If you want something more upmarket in Lilongwe, this is the place. We had the (optional) dinner & it was excellent, freshly prepared in the open kitchen. Breakfast similar. We stayed for two nights rest and relaxation after long travel from the UK, then for our last night after three weeks travelling in the country. Totally suited our needs, including the nice swimming pool."
