Etendeka Mountain Camp

"Diese Erfahrung war definitiv sehr besonders. Wir waren einfach ganz alleine (als Gäste) im Camp - was auch irgendwie unglaublich schön war. Das Essen und generell die Fürsorge des Personals war super toll! Auch die geführte Wanderung und der Sundowner Game Drive waren richtig toll! Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Erfahrung für alle die gar nicht genug in der Natur sein können. Nachts gab es auch Löwengebrüll :) Die Zelte waren immer sehr sauber und ich glaube trotz Zelt waren wir nirgendswo sonst so Insektenfrei (im Zimmer)"

"Jedes Zelt ist mit einem eigenen Outdoor Badezimmer ausgestattet. Die Eimer-Duschen sind echt ein Erlebnis. Leider konnten wir unsere Zelteigene Toilette nicht nutzen, weil diese von sehr vielen Fliegen besetzt war."

"Die tolle Lage in den Bergen , wo man nur Stille und Sterne um sich hat . Die tollen geführten Touren durch die Guides mit den Informationen zu Flora/ Fauna/ Tierwelt . Das nachhaltige Konzept der Lodge ( Energieerzeugung / kein Plastik ) und das ‚ Zurück zur Natur ‚ Konzept ( Unterkunft in gut ausgestatteten Zelten 🏕️)"

"Good home cooked food. The tents were comfortable and the bucket shower, to my surprise, was quite adequate. Our guide was knowledgeable and we both were pleased that we were persuaded to do the walks. This is a wonderful place to stay in a superb landscape. Good game viewing as well."

"The location and the concept of glamping in Namibia in a beautiful part of the country. Friendly staff and the owner who shares stories during breakfast / lunch / dinner. The meals were really really tasty; everyone eats at the same time and at the same table which makes that you connect with fellow travelers."

"The strong wind ! Apparently the Western wind is relatively common. This made it difficult to sleep in our tents."

"We spent a blissful 3 nights at Etendeka Mountain Camp. The camps location is stunning , the tented rooming perfect . Watching the sun rise from the comfort of a cosy bed through our open tent entrance was amazing. The bucket shower , taken under a star filled sky , most memorable. The staff at Etendeka Mountain Camp were so friendly. The food yummy . The star gazing evening was most informative as were the local hikes guided by Glacius that we enjoyed during our stay at the camp . In addition it was lovely chatting informatively with other guests during the evenings."
