"Sehr schöne neue Lodge in der Nähe von Ruacana. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und das Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Die noch fehlenden Nachttischlichter sind wohl schon bestellt, aber es ging auch so. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste zum Abendessen und das Team hat für uns einen Tisch im Boma aufgestellt, Feuer entfacht und unter dem Sternenhimmel ein sehr gutes Essen serviert. Dabei wurden uns auch Hintergründe der Kultur erläutert und wir haben viel gelernt. Anmerkungen - wie zum Beispiel eine Klingel am Gate, wenn es nicht besetzt ist, damit man als internationaler Besucher nicht anrufen muss - wurden gehört und deren Umsetzung zum Teil direkt angegangen. Man hat das Gefühl, dass das Team in dieser recht neuen Lodge sehr wissbegierig ist und den Gast auf jeden Fall zufriedenstellen möchte."

"Brand new, large comfortable accommodation with great restaurant, pool and bar. Staff were friendly. The very best was the sushi and the pizza as well as the wine selection."

"Without a doubt, of the 22 properties we stayed in over a six-week period in Namibia, Omulunga Bush Camp was the best kitted out of all. Pizza ovens, sushi bar, barista-style coffee machines, wine cellar, you name it, they have it. But there does not seem to be a matching clientele, nor even local attractions to match. The Ruacana Falls are virtually dry these days since the electrical output from the Ruacana Dam was increased and other than some local wet-lands, there is not that much else. The central restaurant, bar and pool facilities are excellent, with dinner served in the boma (with traditional dancing if you are interested) or in the open air restaurant. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, with a special shout-out for Dinki!"

"Although the camp is incredibly well supplied with all the mod cons, there is no air conditioning nor simple fans in any of the tents, which with temperature at night in the mid-30s, made for an uneasy hot night. There is also no external electrical power available in the parking area, which is quite some distance from the tents - this implied having to remove fridge/freezers from the vehicles and carry them to the tents to plug them in. Directions to the Camp are also easy to miss, don't follow Apple or Google Maps unless you want to get really lost!"

"There was no hot water in the tent. There is a need to have shade nets for the parking. The safe in the tent also needs some improvement. It is wooden, and open at the back. Anyone can still try to get the contents inside."

"I love the fact that is kind of a combination of urban and rural. The location allows one to connect with nature and it’s very quiet just surrounded by the sounds of birds. Yet, the interior is more urban."
