Zannier Sonop

"Wir hatten das Zannier Sonop als erste Station zu Beginn unseres Namibia- und Botswana-Urlaubs gebucht. Es war genau die richtige Entscheidung, um zu entschleunigen und anzukommen. Schon bei der Anfahrt (sind selbst mit dem Mietwagen von Windhoek aus angereist) wird einem klar, dass die Lodge in einer dünn besiedelten, man kam auch sagen abgelegenen Gegend liegt. Aber genau darin haben wir den Reiz gesehen. Ruhe! Die Lodge liegt in einer traumhaften Gegend auf einem felsigen Hügel. Um sich in der Anlage zu bewegen, muss man sich darauf einstellen einige Treppen zu steigen. Ansonsten ist die Anlage und die Häuser sehr ansprechend konzipiert und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wird wurden gleich am Gate von dem durchweg super freundlichen Personal empfangen. Der Service ist einfach spitze, genauso wie die Küche. Zu empfehlen ist auch eine Massage im Spät-Bereich sowie ein kleiner Ausritt. Der Aufenthalt ist vielleicht nicht ganz billig, aber uns war er jeden Dollar wert."

"One of a kind experience in Namibia. Settled on stones, it felt like something out of movies. Great hospitality from entrance, welcomed with hot towels. Wonderful staff from all ends, from managers, waiters, and others, to our amazing personal guide Rony, who made our whole stay more enjoyable! A true friend during our stay. Every staff made our stay better, and we wish each of them all the best and thank them for being always available for us. All of their activities provided were fun and enjoyable… Sunrise and sunset drive, horse riding, etc. Food was exceptional. Very clean rooms and property. At the end of the stay, we agreed that this was the best hotel all of us have ever stayed at. Real luxury from start to finish. All recommendations go to this place."

"It was worth making the long trip to the hotel because the location, accommodation, and scenery were amazing. The hotel's decor meticulously followed the style of the 1920s and 1930s. The hotel offers guests a variety of recreational opportunities, allowing everyone to find a suitable way to relax. You can spend your time at the pool area, visit the gym, get a massage or spa treatment, or enjoy outdoor movie screenings - or simply spend your time admiring the incredible scenery. The excursions were diverse. The hotel's food was excellent. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive to the guests' wishes. We felt that our well-being was very well taken care of throughout our stay."
