"After two years on the road and countless hostels worldwide, Alobar gets it right. AJ and the team are welcoming, helpful, and genuinely care about the traveller experience. Respectful vibes, good energy, and a place that simply works. Exactly what you want when you’re on the road. Well done"

"Rooms can be cold and lacking curtains. The team was helpful in resolving these issues."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Alobar1000 Hostel. AJ at the reception was amazingvery friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. He gave great tips about the city and made check-in smooth. The hostel itself has a nice social vibe, clean rooms, and comfortable common areas where it’s easy to meet other travelers. The location is convenient and overall it felt safe and relaxed."

"Nothing major to complain about. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy because it’s a social hostel, but that’s expected and part of the experience. Overall, it didn’t affect my stay much."

"Staff is amazing at aloobar, especially Kishwor who helps out with trekking, made friends for life here and it felt like home away from home. Food in the restaurant is great!"

"Nice employees, Aj and everyone else was great, room cleanliness and quality was amazing after spending time trekking in the mountains."

"Only one thick down blanket available to use in the bed, so I got too hot and sweaty. Would be nice if I could have just had a sheet to stay covered but at a comfortable temperature"
