"By far the best property in Nepal . They spoil you to bits. Resort food is awesome. Guruji is the soul of the property and his presence and sessions makes all the difference. Its truly a wellness resort with a separate wellness village ...we took some treatments and well taken care of."

Everyone was brilliant and genuinely seemed happy working there, and that positive energy was felt throughout our stay. This was not only true for the front office team, but even the gardeners were incredibly kind and friendly, which really enhanced the experience. The hotel clearly takes good care of its staff, and that care is reflected in the way guests are treated. We loved our stay, enjoyed the classes, and would definitely recommend this hotel"

"My stay at Kavya Hotel was simply unforgettable. The rooms are huge, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest and many other majestic peaks — it truly feels like waking up in the clouds. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with fresh, flavorful dishes and plenty of variety each day. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring — you can really feel the warmth of Nepali hospitality here. From the hotel, there are many wonderful hiking trails and scenic walks nearby. Every morning, Guruji led an inspiring one-hour yoga session, and in the evening, a deeply calming meditation — both were absolute highlights of my stay. The sunset and sunrise walks were magical, and the numerology session added a truly unique spiritual touch. Kavya Hotel is not just a place to stay — it’s a place to rejuvenate body, mind, and soul. I can’t recommend it highly enough!"

"Absolutely loved my stay! The views are breathtaking, and the staff is truly incredible—one of the hotel’s greatest treasures. Breakfasts were delicious and the overall kitchen was consistently good. I was especially impressed by the leisure area. I didn’t try the spa, but it looks very charming. What really stood out were the wellness experiences: the sound-bath meditation with singing bowls and the dedicated meditation hall facing the Himalayas with Gurujii were unforgettable. I also had a numerology session with Gurujii that was both insightful and fascinating."

"Our room had an incredible view, but it would benefit from a light refresh. The beautiful wooden floors need a bit more care. I’d also suggest a professional upholstery clean for the sofa. For comfort in the mornings, it would help to add curtains on the second side of the bed (the rail space seems to be planned in the design). The bright sunrise comes through from the open bathroom side, so a curtain or partition—similar to the one used for the living area—would be great to softly separate the bath from the bedroom."

"Stunning location with exceptional views over the mountains. Spotlessly clean. Amazing staff and the food was plentiful and very tasty (best MoMos we had). The onsite spa was exceptional and I ended up going almost everyday. Rooms are enormous - and the bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in."

"The restaurant is very functional in terms of decor and ambiance. We expected a little better from a 5* hotel. Activities offered by onsite partner were eye-wateringly expensive. For example, a half day tour would have cost $250 for both of us. We ended up arranging a local driver (directly) to drive up around for the day and this cost us $50. Horse riding (which would have been lovely) was $350 for two hours. In short - you are probably better off walking to the local town and making your own arrangements."
