"Die Lage ist perfekt, ruhig aber dennoch in direkter Nähe zum Bezirk Thamel. Der Rooftop ist perfekt, das Abendessen sehr lecker, die Einzel/Doppelzimmer klein und fein. Das Personal sehr freundlich und angenehm. Ein großer Pluspunkt: Ich konnte meinen Koffer während mehrtägigen Touren bequem und sicher dort zurücklassen."

"My stay at Planet Nomad was fantastic: from the moment I've arrived in Kathmandu- I was greeted by the staff with open arms. One of my favorite parts of the hostel is the rooftop- 360, unparalleled views and the best vibes from backpackers- you're sure to meet incredible friends here; the view of the valley from high up especially during sunset is unreal. The location of Planet Nomad is also perfect- right in the middle of bustling Thamel and surrounded by amazing cafes, food spots, and traveler amenities. Didi, her family and her staff have been most gracious and welcoming - I truly felt at home. It is through this warmth and care that one appreciates true Nepali hospitality."

"I had a really good stay here. The place has a true hostel vibe — relaxed, social, and perfect for meeting other travelers. The owner is very friendly and the staff are genuinely kind and helpful. The atmosphere feels chill and welcoming, and the location is also very convenient for getting around. Overall, a great place if you want a comfortable, friendly, backpacker-style stay."

"I came here for one night and stayed a whole month. And I honestly know too many similar stories with this place. The quality of people from travelers to locals is incredible. If you want to meet the nicest people, this is the place to be. The rooftop has some type of magic. You sit on top of the city with this amazing view. You will not find a chair and maybe that’s what makes it so special. Everyone is laying down or sitting relaxed on the mattresses. If you need some time to rest and enjoy life, you found your new home."
