"Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur und mit einem direkten Blick auf das karibische Meer. Es ist perfekt zum zur Ruhe kommen und einfach, um die Natur zu genießen. Die Hütte war wunderbar und auch mit Insektenschutz, Ventilator und es gibt sogar Warmwasser. Die Gastgeberin ist super bemüht und macht einen tollen Job. Ihr Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und richtig lecker!"

"Nachts lief an manchen Tagen ein Generator in der Nähe, der alle 50 Sekunden ein Rattern abgegeben hat. Das hat etwas die Atmosphäre gestört (leicht). Kein Mängel, nur eine Info: Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist eine ca. 15 minütige Wanderung bergauf, die ein gewisses Maß an körperlicher Fitness erfordert. Auch um zum Strand oder Restaurants zu kommen, müsst ihr jedes Mal wieder runter und hoch. Dafür eben der klarer Vorteil, so abgelegen ruhig zu sein."

Die Gastgeberin haben wir nicht kennengelernt, dafür Steffon, der sich sehr gut um unsere Wünsche gekümmert hat. Zimmer sauber und hübsch eingerichtet, Umgebung umwerfend, Frühstück und Abendessen mit frischen regionalen Zutaten."

"Beautiful property in a hill top picture perfect remote setting. My large room over looked the jungle, and it was buzzing with nature. I loved the yoga shala, and the social breakfast area. Great home cooked breakfast, and they offer delicious high quality set meals for diner too. Steffon who was running the place and was so kind and helpful. He made me feel very welcome. Cute dog too! Handy to have a person carry my suitcase up and down the hill as well! Easy to walk into town or to the beach. I would stay again."

"We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time."

"Great breakfast, informed and interesting host, characterful room and, most of all, the hilltop location catches the breeze so that nights are bearable without using the fan. My special diet was catered for and I found the ambience of the place the best I experienced in fifty two days of travelling through Latin America and Scotland."

"There is no place other than your accomodation to hang out. Would be nice to sit on the deck where you have breakfast in the evening for a drink."

"Jen is an amazing host. The place is far up a hill and the jungle is the jungle. You can't fight the weather but believe me that the place worth it. With Jen and her dog you will feel at home and in balance with nature. Chill music, hot shower, good vibes, great deco, good food & a place to do some yoga. Great place to connect with nature & relax, good walks and wine."

"Pure Roots est situé sur les hauteurs de l’île. Accueil très sympathique de Jen qui nous a aussi bien conseillé pendant notre séjour. Les bungalows sont situés en pleine nature avec vue sur mer. On peut entendre et voir des animaux comme ce paresseux observé sur une liane le jour de notre départ. Les petits déjeuners sont bons et variés."

"Jen est adorable, a toujours été disponible pour répondre à nos questions, nous aider et organiser des excursions. La nourriture était très bonne, avec beaucoup d'options végétariennes. On n'a pas eu de chance avec la météo mais on a malgré tout adoré notre séjour!"

"Il fait sombre dans la chambre et il n'y avait qu'un seul hamac en dehors de notre bungalow spécifiquement (d'autres en ont deux) ce qui ne nous permettait pas de profiter de la vue tous les deux confortablement."
