"I made the booking at the very last minute because my plans had changed. The host responded immediately, and gave me great directions to the property. The apartment is completely renovated, with kitchen and fridge and very large clean bathroom. There is a small market and two cafés right across the street. And easy stroll to the main plaza. I could not find any good palinka, so the owner even dropped some of his beautiful home made version for me to take. And it was amazingly good tsuica! I would stay here again any time!"

"The place is very well located, a short walk from the main boulevard and shopping mall, with a supermarket and a grocery market a few steps away . But Deva is a small town, so everything is at walking distance. There a many free parking spots around but they get occupied in the evening. You can still park on the sidewalk if needed. The apartment is quite big for a single bedroom, has a coffee machine and all you would need for a short stay. The furniture is new, the place is quiet and feels private."

"The host was responsive only when I checked in. Didn't give any proper instructions though, like where I should wait for them and had to wait for them to call. He seemed quite bothered that he had to welcome me. When I reported in the morning that their lockbox was not locking he didn't even bother responding. The place was a mixed bag. It seemed like most of the things were washed (sheets, towels) but all had a slight smell like they were washed without detergent. there was mold in the shower and the shower head was broken. These are all things that can easily be ignored if the experience is better and you feel welcome but I felt like dropping in unannounced at some relative that doesn't like you. The price is neither high nor low for a small province town like Deva so my expectations were medium. The apartment was not located in the city center which justifies the lower than average price, however, the rest of the experience made the place feel a bit overpriced."

"Clean apartment and great coffee machine. The neighbours were a bit loud but that's not the owners fault. It could be solved with a call to local police but I don't think it's something that happens every night."

"Great location near bus and train station, supermarkets etc. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Deva fortress (I recommend walking up the road on East side near the parking lot, it's easy to get lost on the trails even using Google maps/maps me), decent sized room and set up. Good wifi, AC, shower pressure"

"Gazda a fost foarte amabila, ne a dus cu masina la locatie de la gara. A fost curat, confortabil, bucataria era utilata cu de toate. Temperatura a fost perfecta. Daca mai revenim la Deva, cu siguranta vom merge tot acolo."
