"We stayed at the Loku for 3 nights in the New Year period , we were 3 families of friends and so we’ve booked all 3 houses . It was a very convenient arrangement for us because we didn’t have to share the yard or the cooking/ eating outside area with other people. Best things about Loku: -proximity to Bucharest, clean air and a generous yard for staying outside, very clean inside the house with all modern utilities (somewhere between a classic hotel room and an aparthotel ): we had microwave, coffee machine, toaster, heating water machine, fridge, basic dishes, toiletries, hairdryer, slippers . Easy check in and out and we found some very nice welcoming gifts :- water, bear , chocolate and local salt. The pictures from the presentation show exactly like in reality."

"We didn’t like very much the eating and cooking facilities, but maybe in the future something will change for better. Inside the houses we had all the utilities, but we could not cook anything , only use the microwave for heating small things. There was no stove in the house, so in order to prepare a decent meal , we had to get all the dishes, meat, vegetables , etc and go to the outdoor eating area where we had only a small electric stove and not many options for cooking. At the end of the meal , we had to take everything back in the house where we had hot water ( outside it was only very cold water) to clean the dishes and the rest of the food to the fridge to store it … a little bit uncomfortable. In conclusion, you have to come here with your precooked meals and do the daily routine between house and BBQ area, or visit a lot the restaurants from Slănic Prahova area."

"This is our second visit. Houses still look good, WiFi works fine. Nice, large yard and BBQ facilities. Easy communication with the hosts. Thumbs up for the good quality toiletries (many expensive hotels skimp on these)"

"The yard needs maintenance - the paths and areas around the cottages are overgrown with weeds. It also needs more lighting at night (either one of the light strings wasn't working or we couldn't find the switch). The children's toys in the play cottage either need to be replaced or removed. Also, there are still no insects nets for the small window upstairs (that would be super useful, esp at night) or the doors. All in all a good pick, but needs a bit more work"

"The houses are very beautiful, tastefull arranged, clean and have a very good attention to all the details. You have a clean bathroom, neatly arranged towels, a bottle of water in the fridge, some beverages, everything is spotless clean, and a nice wooden smell. Warm inside, all prepaired for your arrival. The resort has a beautiful mountain view, a large courtyard with a rustic setup, and a self check-in so you can adjust your arrival hours to suit your schedule. Two super happy dogs will guard you all the way if you like dogs and pet them 😊. Excellent accommodation, beautiful setup, and good value for money. Perfect if you don't want to be strapped in a hotel room and you want to enjoy more space and a cabin confort. The best choice for anybody who wants a mountainside weekend retreat"

"One small disappointment was the microwave oven. I know that it's fast and easy, but it's also an unhealthy device, and in 2023, we have suitable options such as small electric ovens that dont radiate your food."

"Nicely maintained and clean. Easy check in - check out. Our kids loved the puppies around the property and number of apple, peach and plum trees. Good outdoor space with barbeque and fire pit. I read a previous review from May 2023 complaining of access road issue. That has been fixed as of August 2023 and you can drive right into the premises."

"While the property is fine, there is nothing much to do around except the salt mines nearby."

"Houses and location very nice. Plenty of room, both indoors and outdoors. Working WiFi. Easy check in - check out process. Very quiet, Barbecue facilities and outdoor fire pit. Would visit again, esp. with friends or extended family."

"Although there is a kitchen, there is nowhere to cook (no cooktop, no conventional oven - we would have liked to cook breakfast for our toddler, especially since the location doesn't offer breakfast). There is however a microwave, toaster etc. Also, basic ingredients such as oil, vinegar etc. are not provided. The outdoor children's play area needs some maintenance (a step was missing for the slide, for instance). Insect nets for the door and small upstairs window would be great."

"Hammok, greenness and freshness, perfectly quiet place. Comfortable kitchen table that suits for working, too (I had kind of a workation), parking spot inside the territory, coffee! The place helped recharge my batteries a lot, thank you!"

"Sound of a... pomp? Some piece of machinery downstairs sometimes, once every half an hour, but not constantly, could give a beep. Did not find the source of the sound though, used ear plugs. There could be some sort of curtains upstairs, but this is not crucial."

"The location is very beautiful, having a lot of amenities, you can use the grill, has an open space fireplace and the room is spacious and well equipped. We really enjoyed some relaxing moments here. Thank you for being such a great host. -very clean -parking lot -plenty of ways to relax"
