"Die Lage mit der Aussicht aufs Meer ist grandios. Das Frühstück war meist gut, an einem Morgen sind unerfahrene Küchen Mitarbeiter da gewesen, da war es nicht professionell. Das Degustations Menü am ersten Abend war genial, die anderen Nachtessen waren so olala. Es gibt in der Nähe ein weiteres Restaurant das gut zum Nachtessen ist. Die Bungalows sind sehr schön."

"Das Nachtessen mit Poulet war nicht gut, seltsames Poulet. Im Nachbarrestaurant in der Nähe war es viel besser."

"Die Unterkunft liegt nur 30 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Flughafen entfernt in herrlicher Natur. Von der Terrasse hat man einen herrlichen Überblick über die Praia Tamarindos die zu Fuß nur 10 Minuten entfernt liegt. Das Essen wird vorbestellt und erreicht Gourmet Qualität. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Im Augenblick verfügt das Ressort über zwei wunderschöne Bungalows in denen jeweils ein Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett vorhanden sind. Alles sehr ruhig, man schläft wunderbar. Der Besitzer spricht gut Englisch und das Team ist freundlich und sehr bemüht. Ich habe mit ihm eine interessante Tagestour zu den schönsten Punkten der Insel im Norden unternommen. Auch der Transfer zurück zum Flughafen war kein Problem. Ich kann das Monte Mar nur weiterempfehlen und würde dort jederzeit gerne wieder Gast sein."

"Everything was great, from the welcoming, to the kindness of staff, the rich breakfast and dinner, the help with arranging guides and giving me advice. The room was incredible, a lot of space and intimacy, I felt alone and it was very restful. I particularly loved the use of local materials and the typical decoration and the lush vegetation around."

"The bungalow was spacious, with a beautiful terrace and splendid view on the ocean, where we spotted dolphins. The garden is lush with plenty of birds to observe. The breakfast and diners were delicious."

"Easy, fast and friendly communication in advance. The location has amazing view over the ocean. Spacious and beautiful Bungalow with nice bathroom and good moskito nets in all windows. Excellent climate for sleeping. Nice garden. Only a very short walk (6-7 minutes) to the beach. Welcome fruit shake. Joseph who did the Airport Pickup is the best guy!"

"The hotel is very nice, the room was perfect. There was no need for air conditioning and we didn't even turn on the fan at night. The bathroom including the shower, is perfect. The breakfast was amazing. The location is good with a beach 5 minutes walk, and you can walk to the Blue Lagoon (1 hour hike). Adilson picked us up with very little notice (our fault), and he let us shower in the room after check out, which was really nice of him."

"There are only a few restaurant options nearby and no market close by. The wifi was not really fit for purpose and does not work in the room."

"Like heaven on earth. The chalets, which had a veranda overlooking the sea, were beautiful. They could sleep three people. The grounds were very nice. I think they grew some of their own food. The views of the sea and the nearby mountain were really good. You ate your meals on a veranda where my friend and I watched a thunderstorm. The staff was really accommodating. There were a couple of beaches within walking distance. There was also a town nearby which we didn't get too. The meals were exceptional. We were only going to stay one night. We stayed two nights. I would go back in an instant. It was really a unexpected treasure."

"Truly amazing place set in paradise. The bungalow was spacious, clean, modern, stylish, comfortable set in a beautiful garden with a view to the sea, far from the other bungalows. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very generous and good, made from local fruits and eggs."
