"Die Lage ist einmalig: Unmittelbar am Strand mit unverbauten Blick auf die Wellen während man im Restaurant sitzt. Wer surfen will, ist hier genau richtig. Zum Schwimmen und Baden schien es uns durch die hohen Wellen nicht so geeignet. Die Zimmer sind zwar recht klein, aber die Betten super bequem und es ist sehr sauber. Das Gleiche gilt für die gesamte Anlage sowie die Gemeinschaftsbäder und Toiletten. Das Frühstück war eins der Besten auf unserer Reise. Wer nicht nur surfen will, kommt mit dem Bus (etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß die Straße hoch) in etwas mehr als einer Stunde nach San Salvador oder in 15-20 Minuten an die benachbarten Strände."

"This place is run with love, every single employee runs around to keep you hydrated, fed and happy, the owner and management work tirelessly to keep you happy, the food is amazing and its location is insane, so close to the beach, they have surf instructors who will give you helpful advice even if your not a client, I would seriously take any bad reviews with a pinch of salt, already booked up for another 4 weeks, the price is absolutely reasonable, don’t miss out on a top notch hotel in the heart of el Zonte. Can’t thank them enough for everything they did."

"This was our third time at Olas Permanentes, but our first time staying there as guests in a room. We come every year and enjoy their excellent food and drink at the beach, but usually returned to San Salvador in the evening. This time, we decided to book a room and it was definitely worth it. The weather wasn't playing nice for us unfortunately, but it was great to be able to wake up and enjoy an amazing breakfast at such a beautiful beach location. Of course, being able to pay in Bitcoin is a huge plus."
