"Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig und hatte eine kleine Veranda davor. Es gibt gute Infos für die Ausflüge und Weiterreise. Die Lage ist super. Es gibt drei Frühstückoptionen."

"Kurze Entfernung zum Strand, ideal. Ausstattung gut mit kleinem Pool, viel Grün, Möglichkeiten die nassen Badesachen draußen zu trocknen. Platz für Surfbretter."

"Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig wenn man länger da ist - Passwort für W-lan gilt nur für 2 Tage, dann muss man neues holen. Nachts durch Bars in der Nähe oft bis ca. 01:00 laute Musik aber El Tunco ist auch Surf City, muss man mit rechnen."

"Central location in town, free decent breakfast, friendly staff and surf lessons through the lodge which was great. There were lots of reviews around noise so we messaged in advance to ask for a quiet room and we didn't have any issues so this wasn't a problem for us. Lots of hammocks to chill in also"

"Nothing really. We didn't actually spend much time at the lodge itself the lounges to sunbathe on were plastic so got super hot but we spent most of the time at the beaches and out and about anyway"

"Great stay at Papaya Lodge - My private room was clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning and a private bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was a nice bonus. The pool, second-floor hangout, and hammock area made it a great place to relax. Filtered water and a shared kitchen were also provided, which was a nice touch. The location was excellent for exploring El Tunco."

"There’s some noise at night from a nearby bar, but it wasn’t too bad. Earplugs could help if you’re sensitive to sound"

"The atmosphere and clientelle is awesome. Staff is helpful, does also speak English. Private room is very nice, with nice bathroom and functioning AC. Location is great."

"Didn’t like the dorms too much. Also wished they had more surfboards for rent for beginner/intermediate."

"Location was pretty great and the value was top notch. Very short walk to the beach. I parked my car at the other Papaya hotel in Surf City which no one seemed to have a problem with. Room was pretty spacious."
