"Die Inhaberin ist sehr nett und man kann sein Gepäck vor 3pm in der Rezeption abgeben. Trotz Sprachmangel von beiden Seiten gibt keine Verständigungsproblem, sehr netter Empfang. Die Lage ist ideal, direkt in Herzen trotzdem ruhig."

"It really is a great hotel — we loved our stay. The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of the shopping district: the moment you step outside, you're surrounded by food stalls and restaurants (in a Taiwanese night market style). I especially appreciated the attention to detail, such as the complex light settings in the room, the laundry basket thoughtfully placed in the bathroom, the WiFi password stickers (so you don’t have to get up to check it), the local Assam black tea bags, and the beautifully presented breakfast. The bathroom feels larger than the room itself and features a large hot spring tub that's perfect for soaking and relaxing. There is car parking available, but it's about a 3-minute walk from the hotel, as the area directly in front of the hotel is not accessible by car."

"The only minor downside is the room size, but it didn’t bother us at all — it's actually quite typical for hotels around Sun Moon Lake given the price range."

"The breakfast was beautifully set up. The room is spacious, with a decent view of the lake and with good furniture arrangement. There was no daily room service, which is desirable for us (less interruption). The staff was very informative and willing to help. The hotel is located on the side of the lake which is opposite to most of other hotels. But we can get there with a 20-minute bus ride, although it would be good if you know the bus schedule beforehand in order not to wait for too long."

"The breakfast coffee could be a little warmer. The shower drain does not have enough capacity, resulting in temporary accumulation of water in the shower room. Also, there is no easy access to shampoo or soap when bathing in the tub."
