"Sehr schöne Anlage mit tollem Pool. Geräumige Zimmer und großes Bad. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf den Zimmer gibt es auch Wasser zu Zähneputzen bzw. Dringen. Auch die große Flasche Trinkwasser wird kostengünstig verkauft (1-2 US Dollar)."
"Bezgl. Lage ist es ein zweckmäßiges Hotel: draußen ist mehr oder weniger nichts. Ohne Auto wird es schwierig. Aber für viele ist dies ein Durchgangshotel für eine Nacht. Z.b. vom Start oder Rückkehr einer Safari. Dafür ist es hervorragend geeignet."
"Pleasant setting in a wide garden (we received a bungalow upon request, that was further away from the a bit noisy street that is seperated through a higher wall from the setting). Pool pleasant and garden nice for setting. Bungalow large. Good breakfast buffet."

"Planet Lodge is super convenient, being on the outskirts of Arusha centre, on the Kilimanjaro side. It takes about an hour to get there from the airport. The staff were extremely welcoming and very happy to help. I stayed the day before embarking on my safari, and for two nights after the safari. The hotel is very quiet, and felt very safe. The bedrooms are nice and meet all your needs. Having a pool is a plus (although it was quite cold), and the food was generally very good."
"While the accommodation itself wasn't expensive, and I thought that the room was worth the money paid, the lodge does try to eek money out from you in other ways... The main way it does so is through the food. Given the fare offered, I felt that the food was overpriced (the lodge definitely make the most of you being a captive audience, as it is not easy to just walk elsewhere). This is especially true for dinner, for which there is a flat rate of USD 25. It is standard buffet food and, while nice, nothing special to justify that price."
"In the course of time, I have tried many lodges in Arusha, and Planet Lodge is my favourite place giving a very good value proposition. Lovely and caring staff, very good food both in breakfast and dinner, nice pool and restaurant/bar outlay. Lodges in the nice and well kept gardens are comfy, spacious and clean. In short, a very good place to stay."

"Veramente favoloso! La posizione è perfetta per raggiungere il nyerere National park. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e molto disponibile, ha organizzato per noi la visita al parco. Anche lo staff è preparato e gentilissimo. Lavorano al campo anche dei Masai che ti accompagnao la sera in camera e ti aiutano con le valige. La struttura affaccia direttamente sul fiume in una posizione sicura e rialzata e da qui si può organizzare un safari in barca della durata di circa due ore in cui si possono vedere coccodrilli, vari tipi di uccelli e ippopotami. La vista dalla camera è dalla zona comune è spettacolare. La camera è pulita e spaziosa e con una vista meravigliosa. Ulteriore nota positiva è il cibo, cucinato internamente sul fuoco e veramente buonissimo. Ogni dettaglio del campo, dagli alloggi alla cucina, è curato e garantisce un'esperienza immersiva. Riassumendo....meraviglioso e fortemente consigliato."

"Das Malindi Guesthouse hat seinen ganz speziellen Charme!!! Gerade Studenten und jung gebliebene Individualisten, die die Geräuschkulisse des nahen Fisch- und des Dhowhafens schätzen, können sich hier wohlfühlen. Und die Übernachtunspreise incl. FS sind wirklich nicht zu toppen. Besoners zu erwähnen sind die Manager Garves und Ali, die sich prächtig ergänzen, wenn es darum geht, die Gäste mit Rat und Tat zu unterstützen. Mit den üblichen Übersetzungs- progammen werden alle Fragen beantwortet und Missverständnisse aus der Welt geschafft. Hierbei sind dann nicht ungeduldiger Perfektionismus angebracht sondern Geduld und Phantasie jedes Gastes. Der Dachgarten mit einem Rundumblick auf das quirlige Leben Sansibars ist einzigartig!"

"Das Hotel liegt super zentral. Es hat den ganz besonderen Charme eines alten Herrenhauses. Wir haben nur eine Nacht vor unserem Heimflug hier geschlafen, waren aber sehr zufrieden. Es ist ein kleines Hotel, von dem aus man fußläufig alles wichtige erreicht."
