Serenity Bungalows

"John und Angelic sind wahnsinnig nette Gastgeber. Wenn du sehen möchtest, wie die Menschen in Vanuatu wirklich leben, dann solltest du hier deinen Urlaub verbringen. Das Essen ist super lecker! Der Strand ist ein Traum; vielleicht gar einer der schönsten der Welt! Der Ausblick aus dem Bungalow ist der Wahnsinn. Hier in Port Olry hat es fast keine Touristen; ich mag das. Gestern habe ich John zu seiner Kava-Plantage begleiten dürfen, um diese zu säubern. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Danach sind wir noch in einem unbekannten Blue Hole schwimmen gegangen.Ich fühle mich hier als Teil einer wunderbaren Familie; auch die drei Kinder sind toll. Diese habe ich in der Schule besucht. Das war sehr interessant."

"Wenn du hohe Ansprüche an eine Unterkunft hast, dann bleibe in deinem Land oder buche in einem Resort. Ich habe hier ein australisches Paar kennengelernt, das der Unterkunft 2/10 Punkten vergeben hat. Wenn du blind durchs Leben gehst und die Schildkröte direkt am Strand nie siehst, obwohl sie immer da ist, und wenn du denkst, dass du als Tourist der König bist, dann komme nicht hierhin! Es hat viele Insekten im Zimmer und scheissende Geckos, aber das ist im richtigen Vanuatu normal. Du kannst hier nur bar bezahlen, also bringe genügend Bargeld mit! Der Preis ist etwas hoch angesetzt. Zu einem niedrigeren Preis bleibe ich nun aber nochmals mindestens 5 Nächte und geniesse das Leben hier."

"It was a perfect and prime location. And the owners were so friendly, kind and nice. The little kids were so friendly, playing and helping. There were puppies and dogs around, I have never seen more cute puppies. You get out of the bungalows and you jump in the beautiful water. I liked everything. The lemonades were so nourishing."

"The beach is probably the most beautiful I have seen in the world. The host Angelique is so friendly and helpful. She took us around her village and showed us different food and medicinal plants. Her family were also great, as was her cooking . We loved seeing the different animals from around the village. The people in the village are also extremely friendly."
