Es war alles sehr gut. In die Innenstadt fährt man 5 Minuten.

"The place is neat and well arranged. The attitude of the people was excellent. The atmosphere was very good and the amenities were excellent. Great value for the money place!!!"

"Sehr höflich und sauber. Kontaktfreudig.Ich bekam sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade. Mein Motorrad konnte sicher in der Garage abgestellt werden. Ich kann dieses Hotel sehr gerne weiterempfehlen."

Baulich bedingt gibt es eine Absauganlage der Küche. Sie ist geräuschvoll. Wird aber spät Abends bis zum Vormittag abgestellt.

"The rooms were spacious booked a family room had one double and one single. Was on ground floor first room as you enter building. The a/c was nice and cool it was on a fixed temp as no remote. TV was good with reception. Outside plenty of shops and restaurants. Dera and Gourmet and supermarket/bakery, fast food and other shops along the way. Rickshaws always available across the road. The big malls like ammana mall just a few minutes ride."

The only problem was that the toilet was the flat hole in ground the other rooms upstairs had the siting version but they were double rooms staff said we could change rooms and they will give us extra mattress but we liked the location of first room others had to go past reception.

"The lounge room. This is cool, couple of gaming zoon like table tennis, Foosball table, PSP and many more."

The air-conditioning system was not working properly but it was running. They should have provided drinking water bottles.

"Marnas Guesthouse ist eine sehr gemütliche Unterkunft. Wir haben in Nr. 3 übernachtet, einem kleinen Schlafzimmer mit tollem Ausblick über Tórshavn. Es gab ein großes Bad + eine weitere Toilette und Dusche, einen großen Küche-Ess-Wohnbereich und einen Wirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine. Die Küche ist groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Marnas Guesthouse ist eine Gemeinschaftsunterkunft. Es war sehr sauber und hat wunderbar funktioniert. Die Gastgeberin Marna ist sehr freundlich und hat sich sehr gut gekümmert. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

In dem an dem Hotel angegliederten Restaurant fehlt es an professionalität.

"Sehr gute Lage. Strand wenige Meter entfernt. Preiswert. Einfaches Frühstück im zugehörigen Restaurant zu kleinem Preis zubuchbar, dort auch Abendessen möglich. Sehr netter Eigner, der sich sehr gut um die Gäste kümmert."

"Sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Beim einchecken haben wie festgestellt dass das "Standard" Zimmer viel zu klein und beklemmend ist. Bei der frage an der Rezeption nach einem Upgrade wurde diese unkompliziert, freundlich und kompetent für einen aufpreis durchgeführt. Das 2. Zimmer war dann genau unseren Erwartungen entsprechend. Personal war durchwegs freundlich, und auch die Bar im Erdgeschoss ist sehr nett."

Leider war die Lounge genau während unseres Aufenthaltes geschlossen. Am abend ist es sehr laut, da das hotel eine öffentliche Bar besitzt und hier bis ca Mitternacht gefeiert wird. Schlafen mit offener balkontür (wie wir es mögen) ist schwer, schließt man sie geht die Lautstärke auf jeden fall :)

"everything was just perfect and the stuff was super amazing people like Tima, Cecilia and Fanya also the chef, was my first time being in Mozambique and I was lucky to choose 40/40 accomodation for my stayand it motivated me to come back again that side spends my holidays."

Network was poor but I can't blame the guesthouse it's was also everywhere I went in Mozambique.

The AC in the bedroom was too noisy. And i hope they will fix the elevator soon.

Ich war etwas erstaunt, dass man erst ab 9.00 Uhr am Morgen beim Frühstück Spiegel- oder Rührei bestellen konnte, da vorher niemand in der Küche war.

"James ist ein guter Gastgeber, ich habe mich wohlgefühlt. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Hafen ist sehr schön. Es gab ein gutes Frühstück (nicht inklusive). Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet. WLAN und Klimaanlage funktionierten gut."

In die Stadt (zum Abendessen u.ä.) sind es 15 zu Fuß auf steilen Straßen. Ich fand es seltsam, dass nirgendwo ein Schild mit dem Namen des Hotels steht. Aus der Dusche kam nur kaltes Wasser.

"Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft. Idyllisch im Wald gelegen mit privater Sauna. Für Paare absolut top. Ein Auto wird zwingend benötigt."

Keine zusätzlichen Saunahandtücher. Die öffentliche Sauna ist erst ab 21:00Uhr nutzbar für Hotelgäste. Tagsüber werden dort nur Tagesgäste reingelassen. Die öffentliche Sauna ist aber sehr schön.

"Die Häuser wurden in 1993 für die Ingenieure und Poliere der deutschen Bauunternehmen Holzmann und HochTief errichtet die den Staudamm und den Tunnel gebaut haben. Sehr gut erhalten aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Heizdecken und Kamin machen die Häuser schön warm. Mahlzeiten waren sehr lecker."
