Die Koffer zwei Etagen nach unten und wieder hochtragen. Obwohl es auch toll war von der Terrasse aus gleich nach draußen zu können.

"Perfectly located on Glasgow's West End in walking distance to the city centre, the University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Park just around the corner. Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street, both just minutes away, with their many choices for food and drinks, are great for both lunch and dinner. The flat was in a quiet neighbourhood, and we enjoyed our stay so much."

"The appartment is very clean and well organised. The WiFi quality was also good and you have a beautiful view on the sea. They even give you access to a netflix account so you can relax in front of the TV."

The fact that I had to spend only one day there😀. The appartment was already booked for the next day so I could not extend my stay.

"Das Appartement läßt nur Übernachtung mit Selbstverpflegung zu. Da wir nur 2 Übernachtungen gebucht hatten, haben wir die Küche nicht genutzt und auswärts in der näheren Umgebung, fussläufig erreichbar gegessen. Besonders hat uns der Pool, der zur gemeinsamen Nutzung zur Verfügung steht, gefallen. Mietwagen konnte ohne Mehrkosten direkt vorm Appartement abgestellt werden."

Die Schlafzimmer waren etwas klein und es standen nur dünne Bettdecken zur Verfügung (mir hat es gereicht, meiner Lebensgefährtin nicht... Es waren also nur Kleinigkeiten, die uns etwas gestört haben (Nadel im Heuhaufen).

"Wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick vom Apartment auf die König Abdullah Moschee. Das Apartment hatte alles man braucht und der Service war gut. Wegen Verspätungen konnten wir erst nach der offiziellen Zeit für den Check in ankommen, es hat aber trotzdem geklappt."

"Wir haben ohne Aufpreis ein schöneres, anderes Apartment dort wo die Schlüsselübergabe stattfand (nicht dort wo unsere Originalbuchung war) bekommen und durften am letzten Tag auch länger da bleiben."

Der Gastgeber hat 2 Apartments im Dorf und obwohl es beschrieben ist, habe ich es nicht richtig wahrgenommen, dass die Schlüsselübergabe im anderen Apartment ist, als unsere Buchung.

"Sauber, sehr zentral, mit Aufzug und Klimaanlage in hervorragender Lage mitten im jüdischen Viertel."

Wir hatten eine Wasserundichtigkeit im Bad, der aber schnell nachgegangen wurde. iIm Sommer 2025 gab es eine Baustelle, auf die man vom Balkon aus schaute. Uns hat dies nicht gestört.

"Tolles kleines Haus mit schönem Schlafzimmer und kleiner Terrasse Pool es sind nur ganz wenige Wohneinheiten, daher fühlt man sich relativ allein und hat die Anlage für sich nah am Strand Kaffee und Zucker"

Vielleicht mehr Küchenutensilien, wie Schwamm, Spülmittel, Geschirrtuch, etc.

"Дуже гарно що була машина для прання. В таку жару декілька разів прали одяг. Балкон в тихий двір те що треба. Вход по коду теж супер що не треба одні ключі ділити на двох. Якщоб ще можна було використовувати підземний паркінг за окрему плату булоб супер. А так невелика квартира зі всім що було треба. Можна ще раз відвідати. Парковка загальна біля дому,"

В останій день відкрили шафу зі стаканами, і були розбиті склянки,а це каже про те що ніхто іх не мив. Або прибиральниця розбила і залишила щоб списати з відпочіваючіх. Золог повернули нічого не списували бо синули фото як знайшли розбиті стакани. Не хватало шампуня та мила. Хитався унітаз.

Lebensmittel sind 30 % teuerer wie in Deutschland 🇩🇪 - man kann besser auswärts Essen gegen. Da kein Frühstück im Haus angeboten wurde, habe ich den Fehler gemacht für ein Frühstück einzukaufen. Vorsicht Lebensmittel sind hier erheblich teuerer wie bei unseren Discountern. 😇

From day 1 the ceramic cook top on the stove did not work.They sent a man to look at it, he could not get it to work.Nothing was done to try and fix it for the 7 days we were there.. No sharp knife to cut meat etc.no can opener. No hair conditioner. No phone to call reception, we were on the 9th floor. Had to keep going up and down to see them for anything you needed. No came to clean our room or even change our towels for the 7 days we were there.We had to go down to reception to request clean towels.Then they insisted we brought the used ones to them 1st, before giving us clean ones.But this shocked us the most, they said if we wanted .more clean ones later in the week, we had to PAY for them. The washing machine did not work properly. The TV did not work, had to get someone up to reprogram it. Neither coffee or tea was provided. But they had a coffee machine in the lobby,BUT that did not work either for the 7 days we were there. They said they had a small shop to sell essentials. But it was hardly ever open, we it was it had next to nothing in it. They have a roof top swimming pool, which trying to getvin and out of was really dangerous. The bars you held onto were not fixed properly with screws to hold it in place missing. The top step was missing altogether, when we tried to get in , not realizing the top step was not there I slipped down to the second step missing it going between it and the wall getting stuck, my wife still not in the pool and a man in the pool has to help me out, really scary and dangerous. I told reception about it , they apologized saying they would send a maintenance man to look at it.But like everything else they said they would fix, NOTHING was done for the 7 days we were there, consequently we did not use the pool again. The water in the taps and shower were far far too hot , scalding hot 🔥, very dangerous.

Küchensustattung... kein Kochgas, Besteck und Geschirr wurdr gezählt, kein Toaster, Kein Reinigungsutensiel in der Küche. Das Apartment wurde für zwei Personen komplett grebucht. Räume wurden minimiert vetschlossen, obwohl vollständig bezahlt.

"Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt. Ich hatte das Appartment Firefly (1 Zimmer mit integrierter kleiner Küchenzeile und Bad. Die Aussicht auf die Bucht ist ziemlich gut. Alle dort waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Castara Retreat ist wunderschön, wenn auch ziemlich teuer. Man kann von dort aus viel unternehmen bzw. es wird vieles an Möglichkeiten / Touren angeboten."

Auf der kleinen Terrasse vor dem Eingang ist die meiste Zeit kein Schatten und es ist entsprechend heiß. Von dort aus sieht man die Bucht etwas eingeschränkt. Es roch manchmal nach Farbe, Öl etc., da sich die Werkstatt offensichtlich direkt unter der Wohnung befindet. Restaurant: es ist ein Restaurant auf dem Gelände. Ich habe dort zweimal (vegetarisch) gegessen und war leider sehr unzufrieden.

"Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Abschalten. Wir haben eine ruhige Lage gesucht und diese dort gefunden. Das Apartment war ein Traum. Der Pool genau das Richtige zum Abschalten. Die Gastgeberin war jederzeit verfügbar und war uns sofort behilflich, wenn es Fragen gab. Es wurde alle 2 Tage gereinigt. Für uns war es der perfekte Sommerurlaub."

All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it.

The actual location of the apartment was not exactly as indicated on the booking.com map, which was not so good for us.

Da das Wasser abgestellt war, war das Wasser aus dem Tank kochend warm. War unschön, im Nachgang habe ich festgestellt das den Hahn neben den Eingangstür geöffnet werden können.

"Die Lage ist einzigartig. Als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Inseln absolut günstig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Die Ausstattung, bis auf absolute Kleinigkeiten, top, man kann sich rundherum wohlfühlen. Sehr gute Betten, die angenehmen Schlaf garantieren. Angenehme Wärme in der gesamten Wohnung. Wir würden das Boathouse auf jeden Fall wieder buchen."

Eine kleine Ablagemöglichkeit (z.B. eine kleine Wandkonsole) direkt am Bett (für Handy, Taschentücher, Uhr) wäre schön.
