"Es war alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alles war vorhanden. Der Zugang zum Apartment war gut erklärt und der Blick war atemberaubend. Die Wohnung selber war sehr großzügig und bot wirklich genug Platz für 4 Leute."

Die Bäder könnten eine Überholung gebrauchen, sind doch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

"Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und durften ein sehr sauberes und gepflegtes Zimmer beziehen. Die Unterkunft liegt im grünen, direkt am Meer. Es gibt Kajaks die umsonst zur Verfügung stehen. In einer super ausgestatteten Gemeinschaftsküche kann gekocht werden. Auch Schnorchel sind vorhanden."

Immer wieder verirren sich große Wespen in die Hütten. Insektennetze könnten auch vor den Spalten im Dach installiert werden um dem entgegenzuwirken.

Lebensmittel sind 30 % teuerer wie in Deutschland 🇩🇪 - man kann besser auswärts Essen gegen. Da kein Frühstück im Haus angeboten wurde, habe ich den Fehler gemacht für ein Frühstück einzukaufen. Vorsicht Lebensmittel sind hier erheblich teuerer wie bei unseren Discountern. 😇

Die Wohnung ist gross genug für 4 Personen und sehr zentral gelegen mit vielen Restaurants in kurzer Gehdistanz. Die Sauna ist eine tolle Ergänzung. Küche gut ausgestattet. Fehlendes wurde sofort geliefert. Schuh- und Kleiderheizung sowie Waschmaschine vorhanden. Sehr bequeme Betten."

Das 2. Schlafzimmer hat kein Fenster. Die Schlafzimmer sind nur mit Schiebetüren ausgestattet. Nicht geeignet für 2 Paare. Der Balkon hat keine Sonnenbestrahlung im Winter.

The adress was a little bit complicated because the entrance is in the inner part of the block.

"Besonders gut war die Lage, die frische Luft. Und der Gastgeber, er wartete auf uns, übergab uns die Schlüssel, fragte jeden Tag, wie es uns geht und wollte uns beraten oder helfen. Am Anfang bekamen wir das Begrüßungsgetränk - einen hausgemachten Schnaps, die Kinder Obstsaft. Auf dem Zimmer gab es einen Kräutertee aus den Kräutern in der Gegend."

"We are a family of 6 and we spent 20 days in this 3 bedroom spacious and comfortable house with excellent facilities and everything worked well starting from the air conditioning in all of the rooms, the standby generator, kitchen appliances ie: boiler, washing machine, fridge, kettle, microwave, cooker etc, big smart TV with Netflix amazon prime in the living room. Located in the city centre and close to the shops and restaurants with easy street parking. The house also have a well maintained private front garden where residents can relax.. The house has been recently refurbished."

Frequent power cuts in the city but with a standby generator on site we always have electricity in J Nova residential.

"Very nice space - big, well equiped, quiet, close to the nature."

A bit off the beaten path - we were aware of it and it didn't bother us, but be prepared for 1 km or so of dirt road until you get there.

Enges Bad mit großer Badewanne ohne Duschvorhang. Sehr dicke für uns unbequeme Kopfkissen.

From day 1 the ceramic cook top on the stove did not work.They sent a man to look at it, he could not get it to work.Nothing was done to try and fix it for the 7 days we were there.. No sharp knife to cut meat etc.no can opener. No hair conditioner. No phone to call reception, we were on the 9th floor. Had to keep going up and down to see them for anything you needed. No came to clean our room or even change our towels for the 7 days we were there.We had to go down to reception to request clean towels.Then they insisted we brought the used ones to them 1st, before giving us clean ones.But this shocked us the most, they said if we wanted .more clean ones later in the week, we had to PAY for them. The washing machine did not work properly. The TV did not work, had to get someone up to reprogram it. Neither coffee or tea was provided. But they had a coffee machine in the lobby,BUT that did not work either for the 7 days we were there. They said they had a small shop to sell essentials. But it was hardly ever open, we it was it had next to nothing in it. They have a roof top swimming pool, which trying to getvin and out of was really dangerous. The bars you held onto were not fixed properly with screws to hold it in place missing. The top step was missing altogether, when we tried to get in , not realizing the top step was not there I slipped down to the second step missing it going between it and the wall getting stuck, my wife still not in the pool and a man in the pool has to help me out, really scary and dangerous. I told reception about it , they apologized saying they would send a maintenance man to look at it.But like everything else they said they would fix, NOTHING was done for the 7 days we were there, consequently we did not use the pool again. The water in the taps and shower were far far too hot , scalding hot 🔥, very dangerous.

Man muss harte Matratzen mögen:-) Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte umfangreicher sein - mehr Teller, Nudelsieb etc.

Bedding. I personally prefer white sheets for places to stay. It's the only way I can tell 100% that my bed is clean.

"Die Sicht auf die Nachbarinsel Terre-De-Haut vom grossen Balkon war einmalig. Das Appartement bot viel Platz. Wir wurden von Krystelle herzlich empfangen. Der Abholdienst von der Fähre hat gut geklappt."

"Das Apartment hat eine super Lage mit Blick über die Anse Royale. Es war sehr sauber und hatte einen tollen großen Balkon. Gastgeberin Solana war nett und hat hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Insgesamt ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen lieben Dank!"

The cooker didn't work

Sehr viele wechselnde Gäste. Wenn die Gäste selbst z.B. das WC nicht sauber hinterlassen ist es schwierig für das Personal hinterher zu kommen.

"The place was clean, at a nice location, walk to the beach. The staff was also amazing especially Salum the caretaker who was quick to respond. The owner is also amazing. They also offered recommendations on what's good close by."

Location was far from the main tourist centers in Nungwi and stone town. Suggest getting a car if you are there - lucky we had one. Otherwise great stay!
